My wife and I visited to celebrate our 21st anniversary. The Inn was just as advertised in most respects. The snacks and items available in the Tavern were a great touch. The “Self check in” for social distancing due to COVID could not have been handled better. Very organized! The room was as we expected; except for the bed. The mattress was very comfortable, however the headboard was broken, so the bed made LOTS of noise with every move which embarrassed us. (Like I said we were there to celebrate our anniversary.) Other than that, my wife loved the Christmas decorations and the tour of the home, so we would definitely return. (Maybe after the bed is repaired)😊

Visited this wonderful inn for a one night stay this week and it was delightful. Rooms were very nice, and the inn is located within easy walking distance to the waterfront and restaurants. The owners were most gracious and accommodating. The Tavern Room was well stocked. I plan to return.

Over the yesrs, my wife and I have stayed here half a dozen times. The inn is quaint and well kept. Each room has a theme and is unique. Mike and Holly are awesome innkeepers, you won't be disappointed.

We stopped in for 1 night before we went to OBX. IT WAS FANTASTIC. The owners, Holly And Mike were super friendly and incredibly accommodating to our needs. Great hosts! Stayed in the Patriot room, VERY CLEAN and COMFORTABLE. The place was beautiful and pool area very nice. Wife and I took a walk around the neighborhood , interesting architect and historic homes through out. Coffee shop within walking distance, good places to eat in a few minutes drive. Definitely recommend The Culpepper Inn to others. We will be booking again next August 2021 before we go to OBX again. Looking forward to it.

We stopped at the B&B for one night and it exceeded our expectations. We arrived after regular check-in hours, but still felt very welcomed by their personal self-check-in process. The green room was very clean and comfortable! The entire grounds were gorgeous and although we didn't go into the pool, the pool area was like a serene oasis to sit and relax. I would recommend this B&B to anyone! Innkeepers were very communicative and responsive, as well. Great stay!
