Nice rooms. Elevator situation is terrible. Wat was on average 5-10 minutes. Food too expensive in hotel. $16 for a less than average breakfast buffet was ridiculous. Service was very friendly. Rooms were extremely clean and upgraded. For a Hilton, kind of disappointed and might or might not recommend.

Dear dgraz18, Thank you for your feedback from your recent stay. I am glad to hear that our service was friendly and that you found your renovated room was clean! Regarding the elevators, I can understand your frustration having to wait, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We did have one of our two guest elevators to go out of service recently, but as soon as the issue was discovered, the service company was called to diagnose and make repairs. Unfortunately it did take some time for the necessary parts to arrive which caused slower service with only one elevator in operation. Both elevators are now in service, and we typically do not have elevator outages of any length at the hotel, but I am sorry you had to experience this. Regarding the buffet, we do appreciate your feedback. In addition to the two buffet options, we do have an a la carte breakfast menu as well as different offerings at our Starbucks kiosk, in hopes that we can provide different prices and a variety of options. We will review your feedback with our restaurant team, as it sounds like they may not have informed you of these options, or the fact that the buffet price also includes cooked to order eggs, coffee to-go, and bottled water. We hope that you will give us a second chance if you are in the Durham area again, and please do not hesitate to contact me directly if I can assist with a reservation. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback and for being a valued guest! Kind Regards, Doug Pender Doug.Pender@Hilton.com

I was in town for a quick impromptu trip to see my parents and chose this location as it was pet friendly. I arrived early before arrival and the first floor room I had requested was not available but they were able to get me into a room on the 4th floor and still near the elevator for the pup which was great. The rooms were excellent and even though I had an adjoining room it was super quiet. It was super spacious more than enough space for my dog to have his own side of the room! I had access the executive lounge which was a plus and well stocked. Service from the AM to the PM to the Auditor was always top notch and greeted with a smile. The only downside I saw was that while being near the elevator we still had to walk a while to get the front or side door for the pup to use the bathroom. Will certainly be back!

From poor (putting it lightly) management, to family getting stuck in elevators more than once, to not having the room cleaned until we tracked down the room attendants, to cigarette smell permeating the room, to televisions not working to extremely over priced food that the wildlife would have passed on...we saw it all at this poorly run and poorly managed establishment. Management should seek EXTENSIVE training and customer service skills. The sales department which “assisted” us was absolutely HORRIBLE and shouldn’t even have jobs. This was, by far, the most uncooperative, rude batch of individuals we have EVER encountered. The ONLY two positive things about this entire establishment was the day we left and Jamika, our bar tender. She was FANTASTIC! That woman should be running this entire place or have a management position. Her attitude, demeanor, and overall customer service skills are FANTASTIC!! She was the BEST part of our stay!

The front desk staff went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable. The room was immaculate, well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The pool area was well maintained, with comfortable furniture. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
