At check in was charged the wrong price, finally got it corrected. Once in the room the wall thermostat didn't work. Had a desk buil over the heating/AC unit so not reachable unless you cralwed under the desk. TV and clock radio wasn't working. Took two hours to get another room. Was asked by the desk clerk to crawl under the desk to turn on the heat and i am a disabled person
The property is clean and the staff is nice. The guest rooms are severely outdated. The cheaper the room, the worse. If you stay here get the best room you can. Cheaper rooms don’t have fridge and microwave.
Bad bugs everywhere and Marijuana smell is everywhere. AC/heat unit makes a lot of noise. Bathroom is so dirty I didn’t take shower for whole time I stayed there. Price is cheap but you pay more when you bad bugs and allergies on your skin.
Great place to stay, convenient to everything I needed from cooked food to getting little errands done if need be. Close to some of my favorite restaurants and the staff were very friendly and easy to get along with.
The property was clean , and the few people I interacted with were polite. The front desk person did not wear a mask, and that concerned me a bit. The problem was with the room. I have a mobility impairment and I was careful to book an accessible room. It was on the 6th floor. The room was at the opposite end of the building from the elevator, so it was difficult to get to, but I made it. The temperature of the room was set to 60 degrees F, colder than outside. There was no blanket in the room, just a sheet and thin bedspread on the bed. The temperature controls were under a large desktop and I could not reach them without crawling under the desk, something I can't do with my disability. I called the front desk. They said they couldn't come up to adjust the temperature for me and I would have to come down to the front desk to get a blanket. Since it would be very hard for me to get to the elevator and to the front desk and back to the room carrying a blanket, I ended up sleeping in my clothes. I was still cold and rather uncomfortable, but I was able to sleep. I also need to plug in medical equipment by my bedside, but the only electrical outlet was underneath the nightstand (created by a large wooden rectangle fastened to the wall) and again I couldn't crawl on the floor to reach the plug. Luckily, I was able to stretch the cord to an outlet on another wall, creating a trip hazard because the cord was in the air rather than lying on the ground. In the morning I called to the front desk to ask if someone would adjust the temperature for me wince I was staying another night and for housekeeping to bring up a blanket at some point during the day. The person said he would put an order in. When I returned in the evening, the temperature was still 60 and there was no blanket. This time I had brought my fleece jacket to the room, so I wore my clothes with the jacket to bed and was plenty warm, but not terribly comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with grab bars in the toilet and shower, but the shower was in a tub rather than a roll-in shower. I was able to manage getting in and out of the tub with some difficulty. Not a terribly accessible room or helpful staff, on the whole. I would not stay there again.…
