We stayed in this quaint, historic inn on a trip to see the Yadkin Valley wineries with two other couples. Situated near many local wineries, it is the perfect location. The rooms are clean and well equipped. We loved sitting on the back porch over looking the vineyards for breakfast and in the evenings to discuss and enjoy our favorite wines of the day! Hannah left plenty of snacks and coffee pods! She was a wealth of information about local history, dinner reservations and the various wineries! Don't miss a stop right down the street to the historic Rockford General store for fresh NC Sonker-think cobbler! We look forward to returning here again for a little slice of heaven!

We stayed at this inn for our annual girls weekend. There are three of us so we rented the entire house, and each had a bedroom and bathroom of our own. All of the rooms were clean and cozy. It is such a peaceful place, and Hannah had everything there you could possibly need. The house was such a pleasure to stay in being as it is such an historic family home. We visited Shelton and Herrera vineyards ( Herrera was our favorite). We will stay here again and visit more wineries next time.

My husband planned a weekend get-away for us and our friends so he gets all the credit for this one. The Rockford Inn is a charming historic farmhouse located smack dab in the middle of the NC wine country. We stayed in the Vineyard Suite which was a wonderfully spacious room with fluffy pillows (and towels), creaky hardwoods and antique wavy glass windows - everything you'd expect from an 1840's Antebellum home. The breakfast was insanely delicious from the Peach crème brûlée French toast and fresh "from the back yard" blueberry/granola parfait to the creamy cheddar "Charleston" grits and country sausage- Superb! And the gracious hosts... I simply can't say enough nice things about Hannah & Doug! They have a natural talent for making you feel so welcome that you'll never want to leave. We will definitely be back SOON!

Can't say enough wonderful things about Rockford Inn, Hannah was a gracious host. We rented the whole home, plenty of room for 5 adults. The home is so historic and beautiful. Keep the integrity of the historic background but updated where need be. This is a MUST GO, winery's close and town quaint.

This historical building in a historic town was a perfect place for a Bed and Breakfast. Located on the Mountain to Sea Trail it is a perfect respite. I was hiking the trail and my wife met me there for an evening. The room was large and clean and the bed comfortable. The owners went out of their way and made us a vegan breakfast. They were helpful with dinner recommendations and make us feel at home.

My husband surprised me with a weekend trip to the Yadkin Valley. We went hiking at Pilot Mountain and visited two of the many vineyards in the area. We had a wonderful stay at the Rockford Inn. We stayed in the private and spacious Mountain Laurel Room. It was warm and charming. We had a delicious breakfast that included eggs, bacon, sausage, and muffins. We especially enjoyed getting to know the other couples staying at the Inn. Doug and Hannah were GREAT hosts. We enjoyed talking to them about the area and especially about the house. Their house has been in their family for over a 100 years. We liked walking around their property and seeing the vineyard and blueberry bushes. We even went home with fresh blueberries from their home. This is a great place to stay for a romantic getaway!

Hannah and Doug provide excellent hospitality. The Vineyard Suite is spacious and well appointed and looks out onto the pretty farm land around it. We recommend this place for anyone visiting the Yadkin Valley with its many wineries and accessible river there are lots of things to do.

We so enjoy the conversations we share and the breakfast always delicious!! The rooms are spacious and always clean and have everything you could possible need to make your stay one to remember. The Inn is located very close to some of Yadkin Valleys finest wineries. We are already looking forward to another great stay!!!!!

The hospitality of Doug and Hannah is great. The breakfast and conversations were most enjoyable. This visit to Rockford was to go to the candlelight Christmas service at the old Methodist Church in Rockford. We also toured the Andy Griffith Museum in Mount Airy. The Rockford Bed and Breakfast is highly recommended.

We were going to spend the weekend at the Yadkin Valley wine country. So we looked online for bed and breakfasts. The Rockford Inn was highly rated by all the different websites. Since we like small lodging places, specially quaint ones with history, we decided to stay here. The Bed and breakfast is located in Rockford Village, a very small but picturesque town. Hannah, the owner, was very sweet, warm and welcoming. We asked her about the history of the house, which is fascinating. The house exudes history. The decor of the Bed and Breakfast is par with the era and ambiance of the house. Our room, The Blue Ridge Room, was cozy, nice decorated, comfortable and clean. Keep in mind that the bathroom is tiny. Hannah invites you to make yourself at home, so going into the common areas of the house gives you a family feeling when sitting in the living room, or going to the kitchen to get a cup of tea. There Inn is very peaceful, and the whole area is very quiet and relaxing.
