Twin Lakes RV Resort is a beautiful RV resort in North Carolina, located on a peninsula between the Pamlico River and the Chocowinity Bay. As the only RV Resort in North Carolina's Beaufort County, we are very proud of the safe family atmosphere we have created and maintained over the years. This, combined with our genuine southern hospitality, are what keep families returning to Twin Lakes for a reliable RV resort experience.

While staying at Twin Lakes RV Resort don't miss the opportunity to visit the Outer Banks. The Outer Banks offers excellent golf courses, island-style restaurants, and a slower pace that attracts visitors from all over the globe...truly, a getaway from the every day, just outside Twin Lakes RV resort in North Carolina.

We didn't stay long (2 nights) because we were just traveling through, but the camp spot was perfect for what we needed. We didn't use the pool or anything other than the showers which were clean enough and good.

My family stayed at Twin Lakes last week during our kid's Spring Break. Worse decision we ever made. Cabin 11 ending up having a horrible bed bug infestation. Come to find out there had been a previous bed bug incident reported within the past year in Cabin 11. We experienced close to 300 bites between the 4 of us and are still trying to heal both physically, mentally, and emotionally from the experience. Poor security, amenities are not maintained, staff is almost non-existent. Save yourself and loved one's from potential physical injury. It's been close to a week since our incident was reported and haven't heard back from management, corporate, or insurance company.

Overall great experience except for the site (D24) that was assigned to us. With 3 small kids it would have been nice to stay beside other campers alike. Staff was great. Store was very empty though. I would definitely give them another chance

Twin Lakes is a nice RV park. This was our first visit and we stayed four nights while visiting family in Chocowinity. The staff was nice, the utilities worked, and the park was clean. Our site had lots of trees, so DirecTV didn't work, but I was able to find a whole in the tree canopy for Starlink.

We've stayed at Twin Lakes several times over 2 years. Every time we enjoy the campground and community. We made friends with some of the annuals. The campground is beautiful, with lots of amenities. There's lots of fishing/boating activities available. As a family the full-time RVs, Verizon data worked well, and the kids had kids they could play with during the week. The only negative was that the campground is mostly dirt/grass, so it's pretty muddy when it rains.

The cabin did not have a table and chair to eat from. It contained nothing to store clothes or hang up a coat. Efficiency duplex. Beautiful campground with nicely views of water. However, I would recommend asking for a different cabin. Do not get D19. (last one on the block across from storage area. no view.

Good place to stay for "Glamping" (not really camping per se, but nice none the less). You might want to bring rubber boots of some type, for when it rains as it does get a little soggy. They have a sizable dog pet for the fur-babies to run around in and everybody is friendly. If you have a golf cart - MIND THE 5 MPH SPEED LIMIT, people WILL call you out for speeding as there are a lot of children in the warmer months.

Helpful staff. Quiet campground, I felt safe. Will look forward to returning during warm weather as the pools are inviting. The park is clean. Although the cabins are small they have everything you need and are always clean.

It was a pass thru to home in a cool grey couple of days but we thought we would go back in better weather. My husband had issue with small shower saying he could barely use arms and being disabled needing hand held shower and grab bars I could not use it. Our first long trip and was surprised and sad not to see handicap accessible showers in every campground.
