I’m rating these accommodations because of the condition of our bed in our room. When you walk into a room and see that the mattress is concave, that should be a sign to possibly get a new mattress. The room was small, but very cute. The shower was tiny, but was usable. There was no hair dryer so that was disappointing. Went to the office to ask, but locked up for the night. I’m just used to staying in rooms that this is standard.
Perfect location for a place to relax on the porch in the rocking chairs and listen to the River flow over the rocks! Convenient to the Flowering Bridge and a short hike to downtown retail shops. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated with rustic decor. The pool was cleaned daily and the lounge chairs comfy. The staff was professional, helpful and friendly, Tabitha was awesome! I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice mountain getaway.
Our cottage was very nice with everything we needed. The view was perfect of the lovely river. Wildlife was amazing. We even had a sweet little groundhog who visited every day. Dianna, was wonderful, telling us anything we needed to know. Could see Chimney rock from our porch. We will be returning for sure!
This is the best place to stay. All the cottages are great. Love the owners. Convenient to downtown and near the flowering bridge. Cottages are very clean and cozy and have everything you need to enjoy your trip
Absolutely loved our stay! Everyone was so nice. Loved Travis, he was so very helpful. Can’t wait to come back to Chimney Rock. We will definitely be coming back to stay here. Beautiful views and such a cozy feel.
The cottage was clean, but overly decorated with grapevine wreaths and an odd assortment of wall hangings. Beds were uncomfortable with sagging mattresses. The overpowering smell of marijuana infiltrated the place from somewhere nearby outside. Despite trying to close air vents and cover them with throw rugs, we felt like we were going to get high from the second hand smoke, which was ironic since it is advertised as strictly non smoking. Many light bulbs were burned out. On the positive side, our check in process was friendly and it was inexpensive.
This Inn far exceeded expectation. Even when there was issues with the hot tub within the cottage we were refunded that night AND got a free nights stay in the bigger cabin. DEFINITELY going back! Plus the surroundings were amazing.
We rented a room for a one-night stay. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and staff very friendly. View of chimney rock was fine by just stepping out the door of our room. Very convenient to the village shopping area and entrance to Chimney Rock. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed four nights in a cottage room, sipped on coffee and tea in the early mornings on the fantastic large front porch. The rocking chairs are comfortable and had a great view of Chimney Rock. Our last evening we ate dinner at one of the round tables after the sun had crossed the tops of the mountains. They served hot coffee most every morning for guests. Their hospitality was very good and we used their ice machine every day. Very nice visit.
The hotel is really cool aesthetically, with the option to rent individual rooms or entire cottages. I stayed in a 2 bed room and family stayed in a 1 bed cottage. The service was really good, I lost my wallet on the last day and they found it in the parking lot, called me up, and shipped it to me no charge. Not a lot of places care that much, we will definitely look to stay again next time we are in the area!
