Stayed one night in room with two queen beds. Right by chimney rock and several restaurants. Cute inn. Clean. Not too big of an inn. Loved the area. The gentleman working was helpful. Would stay again!
Enjoyed our stay, the room was nice, it was clean, one draw back, I could hear the traffic in my room. I would be back. Not terribly too much h to eat near by and the ones there I believe I was told close at 8 pm. The view of Chimney Rock is great! Give you binoculars to view with in the room.
We went for 1 night as we had to be back. We went for our 20th anniversary. They greeted us and even told us Happy Anniversary. They got us situated and answered our questions. We even met the owner, awesome guy!! We went to the room and got settled with our stuff and then took off to visit Chimney Rock State Park. When we came back, the owner and staff had a small cake, a balloon and wine waiting for us in our room. That made it even more memorable. Beds were extremely comfortable. Best nights sleep we've had in a long time. I would highly recommend them. Really nice people and comfortable place to stay. The view out the door of our room was amazing. We saw the waterfall from the door of the room.
Besides the views being absolutely fantastic, Oscar was extremely helpful and courteous and always asked if there was anything he could do to help. So much better service than any big name hotel. They provide several hidden extras (i.e. Tongs and spatulas to grill with and a small library of movies) that really just push them above the rest. Also, I had an unfortunate incident where something exploded all over my clothes in my travel bag and he went out of his way to help me and take care of that issue. Absolutely wonderful experience, thank you so much!!
Thank you for the hospitality, Oscar. Room 8 ticked all the boxes for a one night stay. Our room was freshly sanitized and our beds were comfy with really nice pillows and bed linens. My husband made friends with another guest and they enjoyed the breeze on the patio while solving the world’s problems. You are essentially close to groceries, lake, dining and gift shops. Thank you again Oscar. See you again soon. Kellie and David C.
The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The view from the room was amazing. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The location was excellent, very close to the entrance of Chimney Rock state park and the town of Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. It was quaint and a comfortable place to sleep after a day of adventures.
I enjoyed the stay at your hotel i recommend this hotel to anybody who enjoy a clean and good atmosphere and the staff was very especially your manager and his staffif you need. A good place to rest come to hickoryfalls hotel
Stayed one night in October (completely booked 2nd night I wanted to stay) and Mac (owner) was super friendly. Gave some recommendations on other hotels in the area for my second night. Was very accommodating and turned on fire pit later in the evening for me. Most of all this place was super clean with a nice room and view of Chimney Rock. Will definitely return to the hotel when I visit Chimney Rock/Lake Lure again.
The Owners here are sweet and were accommodating to any needs we had. The guest rooms are super cute, clean and cozy, with lake house decor which gave it a homey feel. The beds were comfortable, with lots of pillows. We brought our own pillows but didn’t need to.Plenty of clean, fluffy towels were in the bathroom, as well as extra ones on the hanging clothes rack. Hop, skip and jump to dining and shopping. Great place to go to just relax and chill out for the weekend. View from the front porch is awesome, and they even supplied a pair of binoculars to use to see the chimney on Chimney Rock as well as the awesome long fall waterfall across the street. Will be staying here again and from now on whenever we want a weekend away! Excellent
We just happened across this place online, and it far exceeded our expectations. We had a great experience with a friendly and accommodating staff, even helping me with printing some documents that I needed for work. The view from the front porch was incredible and they even had complimentary binoculars in each room so we could take full advantage and a white noise machine (unheard of in anything but luxury hotels). It was just outside the town and we were able to walk to restaurants and shops. The room was modern with luxurious bedding and towels and spotlessly clean. I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the Lake Lure or Hickory Nut area
