A small, quaint and classy Inn. The room was well kept. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfasts were wonderful!! We greatly enjoyed the picnic lunch that was packed for us on the day we went hiking. Beautiful lobby and relaxing stream.

We were looking forward to a relaxing visit in Asheville over the Veteran's Day Weekend. We reserved a cabin for 2 couples for 2 days. We stopped in early in the morning and met with two woman who were behind the reservation area. They welcomed us and gave us our packets and charged our two days to our credit cards.... More

I spent here one night while traveling with my family in Chimney Rock (which is a great place to visit). I can say anything bad about this hotel, it is clean, quiet, got special decoration, breakfast (complimentary) and dinner (fair prices) were good and the desk ladies gave a nice welcome and good service. Yet, it is OK only if... More

Our stay at the Inn was wonderful. Staff was friendly and gave a short history of the Inn. Our room looked out at the mountains. We ate dinner at the Inn and it was good. Breakfast was outstanding. I recommend this Inn.

We enjoyed our stay at the Esmeralda Inn. The staff is lovely and the breakfast was delicious. This was our 2nd stay. The first time we visited with our family of 5 and stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. There was plenty of space for a blow up twin mattress. The bathroom was rather small, but the attention... On my last stay at the Esmeralda Inn in Chimney Rock it was disheartening to hear the way that the INNKEEPERS talk about former and current guest when they believe that nobody is to be around! While the Inn is definitely beautiful, the service and attention lacks there of. The amenities are terrible for the rates that are charged. I... More

Our room looked out at mountains, two robes were hanging in our room, we could control the heating/air-conditioning system from a wall mounted thermostat and there was an elevator to take us to our room on the third floor. The breakfast was delicious and the wait staff were eager to please.

Just spent four nights in the Green Cabin with our son & his family. Everything about the cabin & the food in the Inn was very good except the service in the cabins & the cleanliness of the Cabin upon arrival. There was no housekeeping in the Cabin during our entire stay, not even changes in towels. We were offered... More

This place is way too expensive for what they offer. The entire building echoes, including the pool game being played at 8 am. There is no coffee makers or refrigerators in the individual rooms. Coffee is only available 7:30 to 10 am. Ice is only available "upon request." We paid extra for a private balcony. Don't waste your money. The... More

I have been to the Esmeralda Inn in Chimney Rock twice now for lunch. It was wonderful. The first time I had catfish and the second time I had an oyster poor boy. They have a top class chef and I understand an expert in French pastry. It's certainly worth the trip down Hwy 64 from Hendersonville.
