The people were great, friendly, and outgoing from the desk to the guy that showed us to the campsite. The only problem with being a crowded time of year there were only 2 lots open as we were planning on staying longer than a week. we only are pulling a 15 footer, waiting on our 5th wheeler. the lot was... We attempted to make a reservation through their third party BookYourSite.com reservation system. When we received no final confirmation, I called them. They were already fully booked, even though BookYourSite.com showed they had availability. Also, even though I had entered the information, correctly, they had my 40 ft RV camper trailer listed for a tent site. The lady owner on... More

We just got back from staying here and it is the first time in almost 30 years. It has greatly improved over that time, but still has a few issues that keep it from getting 5 stars. Pros: 1. Great spot for a campground. Right alongside a river. Pay extra for the riverside spots. It is worth it. 2. Friendly... More

Wow.. we can't believe it has been over 30 years since you have last visited our park! We appreciate your feedback about our improvements and are glad that you had good stay overall. Due to our location nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains, cell service is very limited for several carriers. Please accept our sincere apologies that you were not... More

We stayed in a cabin with a loft that slept 4 people. There was a small "kitchenette" ( and I use that term loosely) with cabinets and a microwave. No sink. That's it. Small fridge and small microwave. No dishes, silverware. So.... That being said, it was okay. There were ants in the loft and my daughters friend because allergic... More

I have to admit, I was questioning our camping choice when we pulled up here. To begin with, getting there was quite a wild ride. Our GPS took us down a gravel road! We were pulling a 5th wheel camper! Luckily, we decided to get back onto the main road. It was a good call, and we found the campground.... More

The park is clean and so kid friendly! A few times a day you may see a wagon ride with Yogi bear! Or a golf cart riding through the park with Yogi on it! The activities are great for the kids! The pool area is nice AND clean!!! Right by the river...so nice and peaceful!!! Will visit again if ever... More

We stayed in cabin #91 during the week of July 4th. When we pulled into the campground that Saturday afternoon it was pretty hectic, and when we tried to check in our cabin was not ready yet ( I'm guessing because of the holiday crowd). We usually camp at state parks and I admit I was wondering if we had... More

The only reason I did not give the full 5 stars is because they were not able to process Credit/Debit card transactions while we were there. Not necessarily their fault, but since we rarely carry cash anymore, we missed out on a couple of the extra activities that required an additional purchase. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the Restrooms... More

Just stayed here in a lovely cabin. The campground is very nice with plenty to do. Right along side the river. The cabin was pet friendly, very clean, and was well equipped. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a sleeper cabin. We were able to bring our Yorkie with us. The camp store had everything we needed. There are plenty of activities going on to keep everyone entertained.
