We have been coming to this hotel for probably six or seven years. We always look forward to it but have noticed the last several times that we seem to leave somewhat stuffy. We both have allergies and the last couple of times we’ve noted that the rooms smelled smokyand musty. We asked this time for a room where they had not had any animals. We were told that all rooms have animals because of being required to have service animals. I guess this will be our last trip here.

The beds were amazing and the pillows were so soft. The room service was so kind and nice. The showers were amazing and felt so good and I also loved how you guys provided me and my family products for our body and hair.

My fiance and I are from out of town. We wanted a weekend getaway to Charlotte. When I checked us both in, there was no initial greeting from the front desk agent. There was no explanation of the hours of the hotel's amenities. It also looked like their was some basketball group that was staying at the hotel. They had draped off parts of the lobby so guest's couldn't enter. I found the staff lacking professionalism and not friendly. The check-in associate didn't check my ID and didn't say anything to me. I think more training needs to take place at the front desk.

This past Monday I flew into Charlotte for the day to interview at the AC Marriott and was accidentally dropped to your door. Tammy greeted me with a smile, a warm welcome and asked how she could help as she saw I was confused. Her kindness brought me into the hotel where I decided to have lunch and prepare for the afternoon interview. Later on, I was in a panic because I didn’t have a room to clean up and get dressed for my interview (per company policy as I had same day flight home). Dionna went out of her way to first understand my challenge and sought different solutions. In the end, Dionna was able to accommodate and my needs were met, removing that added stress before the interview. Perri and Erika were also very kind and encouraging as they joined Dionna in wishing me luck as left for the interview. I came back to thank them and Perri offered me a bottled water before I left. It didn’t matter to your kind staff that I’d only had lunch there and didn’t have a room for the night. They were there for me on a big day and I am grateful!!…

Was there for my daughters wedding. The hotel is nice & staff is friendly. Had an issue with door to room and it was fixed in a timely matter. However parking is ridiculous. Small parking lot. People park everywhere on the curb, in the natural areas. Saturday morning a printed note on my car no parking. There were cars everywhere & 2 cars singled out, mine & another. There isn’t a no parking sign anywhere. They need to address the parking issue big time. It was just a note not a ticket but didn’t appreciate being singled out when others were parked wherever they could make a spot

Wow! What a memorable experience with the American Doll package. We had a pink room, beds and robes for the dolls, pink milk in the fridge. The little girls (4 and 6 years) also had robes to wear and personal notes. The staff was fabulous, seemed to genuinely enjoy the girls’ joy and excitement. We especially enjoyed Perri at the front desk who the girls “adopted”. Such a fabulous weekend. Great food and drinks for the adults. Thank you, Marriott!

In today's society customer service is almost non-existent ! Many complain when services are not up to par, but when the shoe is on the other foot many don't acknowledge great customer service. Me and my family stayed at the Marriott Charlotte Southpark. We had several complaints which were corrected expeditiously by Ashley. Ashley; was professional, friendly, courteous,caring and just plain nice! Ashley used all the common courtesies while dealing with me as well as other customers. Ashley acknowledged me promptly. Ashley, spoke, called me name, made eye contact and reiterated my concerns. Ashley then gave me the option to switch rooms. Inaddition to several complimentary upgrades.The Marriott is my hotel of choice and always have been! I appreciate Ashley's ability to help me with my concerns. Very great mobile check in experience and the hotel amenities were really good. We were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary and pick this hotel because of proximity to shops. The restaurant we picked for our dinner reservation was a short walk away and my wife loved the outdoor pool. Front desk staff was very welcoming and we look forward to a future stay again.
