Continental breakfast consists of three previously frozen Danish, three croissants, a pot of coffee and some powdered creamer. One of the poorest examples of a breakfast that I've encountered. Oh yes there is a juice dispenser. I would have taken a photo, however it was too tough to take out my phone. LOL

Sorry you was unhappy with our breakfast, but we don't advertise continental breakfast we call it a grab and go. We do have powdered creamer and half and half creamers as well.

The room at this location was what one anticipates for the price. However, if you are a jogger or walker then go elsewhere or refrain from your exercise during your stay. The area is very, very bad. There was no breakfast to speak of. The fact that the office is locked at night and one speaks to the staff through thick...

Sure, it isn't the greatest area of town, and being familiar with Charlotte, I knew that when I made the reservation. But if you need a low priced place to stay in a location convenient to uptown or the University area, this works well. I had several interactions with staff members and they were all friendly and professional. The room...

This is a great location to downtown. The check in clerk was friendly. They were redoing the stairs- so she made sure to explain where to park, in order to get to our room. The outside is rather dated and needs refurbishment- but the room was clean- we were only there for one night on a road trip- so it...

The reviews didn't mention the thugs outside, some sort of questionable transaction in the rear lot or the jail type gate around the property. I found this place on the Internet and my fiance only went in to cancel the reservations.

Room absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke and everything I brought in smelled like it until I had a chance to wash it. I guess that's my fault for not checking ahead of time if they allowed smoking in rooms. The carpet was fairly dirty as well. The location was in a worse area than I thought, I didn't feel particularly...

We've stayed at this hotel before and it is OK. The room was clean, but it is obviously quite old and outdated. There was a decent flat screen TV so can't complain about that. The mini fridge didn't work during the evening when we needed it. We complained to the front desk and of course they checked during the day...

Basic no frills, old school motel. Lady at check in on 3/19 was efficient and professional. Room 107. 1 king bed gave you a lot of room. Table with 2 chairs, small fridge and microwave, large flat screen. Room seemed clean and to have been recently renovated, but still had a 60's vibe with wallpaper border around ceiling and cheap...

This hotel is no frills and not fancy, but it is very clean and the area seemed safe. It is located just a few minutes from downtown. If you are looking for an inexpensive and clean place, this may suit you. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. A good deal.

Pros: clean, nice bed. Cons: really dated, no real breakfast, only 3 flat pillows for a king bed, and only 2 decent-sized towels. This was a last-minute booking and it was OK for $50, but if you can spend $10 more for a nicer place.

“All the rooms open to the outside, and I would recommend staying on the lower floor near the office, just to be in close quarters with other guests. The premises seemed safe, but the surrounding neighborhood probably not so. Best to stick together. Surprisingly saw mostly late-model cars among the other guests.”
