We do monthly charlotte date weekends, and this was the last hotel on our list to stay at. We've stayed at pretty much all of the other ones, Ritz, Grand Bohemian, Hilton, etc. and i was a little nervous about staying at the Omni given some of the reviews i have read, however, it turned out to be one of our favorite stays. The Ritz it isnt, but i wouldn't expect it to be given the cost is way lower. But i will say, we enjoyed out stay almost as much. We had an exec suite on the 12th floor. Corner room which was somewhat unique because it came to a point the way the building was shaped. The décor was a bit dated and the bathroom was small for a suite, but again, i think it was just because the rooms was oddly shaped and i dont mean that in a bad way because the view was excellent. So, the main reason i rate this hotel so high is the amenities. Its located right across from the Epicenter with a covered walkway. Has a real membership type gym in the lobby that is free for guests to use, a food court on the street level, and and incredible rooftop pool with a big screen TV and Bar. Just everything to make for a great date weekend. I read on other reviews that noise was an issue and we really didn't experience that. We heard the occasional loud car or motorcycle, but no more so that other hotels we stay at in charlotte. The lobby bar wasn't open which is too bad because it looked really nice, but the pool bar more than made up for that. This hotel has definitely made its way to the top of our charlotte visit list.

OMNI HOTELS may carry a price point beyond "Value" or "Budget" but sometimes that distinction is not reasonably justified and you check out feeling ripped off. This Omni Hotel Downtown Charlotte creates no discontents. As I went about my stay, I found myself more and more impressed. Our Deluxe 2 Queen Bed guest room really took the eyebrows up. The floor to ceiling windows with Panoramic views was very enjoyable with the Epic Center literally 1 block away (also viewed from the panorama.) Lovely spacious bathroom with abundance of towels and thoughtful amenities including cotton balls and Q-tips. Even the Ice machine was cleverly situated behind the elevator banks, designed into the decor. Very thoughtful craftsmanship. I've seen NO staff at ANY time unmasked not observing Covid-19 protocol for the safety of guests. Main lobby layout and valet parking a bit tricky but will get the hang of it. Overall a great pick.

My husband and I took a weekend trip to Charlotte to celebrate our anniversary. We haven’t taken a trip together in the 5 years since our son was born, so this was a truly special occasion. The staff at Omni was incredible and so welcoming. We arrived to our room with a sweet card welcoming us and wishing us a happy anniversary. From the valet, to the front desk, to the bar staff— everyone was so genuinely kind. We were blown away all weekend. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the views were fantastic. We can’t wait to visit again.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and didn't feel comfortable at all. Almost nobody, including hotel staff, are wearing masks, no social distancing what so ever. Even though signs about these saftey measures are everywhere, nobody enforce it. I think these days it is still important to follow these basic rules. Otherwise hotel is OK and location is good.

I was wanting to experience room service . Also, wanted a restaurant and maybe more service. For what I spent i was disappointed. I know the coronavirus has set limits but so should there prices. Breakfast is not provided. 2 $6:00 waters were in the room. Nothing was in the mini bar as stated. I was very disappointed.
