We had a fun little time here, nice and quite. The camping spots were decent in size with at least one tree at each site. Only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars would be not having Cable, and Maybe include a little more to do on site like putt putt or keep the pool open later.

I did not know what to expect after reading mixed reviews. All I can figure out is the people writing anything less than excellent reviews must be trying to keep this place a secret for themselves! There were 13 family members on this trip we rented a two bedroom cabin and a tentsite near the pool. The cabin was so... More

Made a reservation several months in advance for our family reunion and requested the closest cabin to the lodge where our family was staying. I was given a confirmation number and a cabin assignment. I called a month in advance to confirm the details. The cabin assignment did not change. I called the night before and left a voicemail confirming... More

When going camping, one would like to build a camp fire to make smores and tell stories around it. I was disappointed in finding out it wasn't allowed. Other than that, our experience was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the customer service and plan to go again.

They sent me an acknowledgement of my reservation without any directions. The resort was hard to find through any map or GPS. The directions on the amusement park website were not helpful. After we went into the amusement park main parking to get directions (they were helpful) as we are driving down the road even the signs were hard to... More

We stayed one night at the cabin with 4 children and 2 adults. There was plenty of room for everyone. We did spend time at Carowinds amusement park but never took the shuttle as we have season passes so free parking. We checked in around 3 and rented a fire pit right away. (It was $15 and then a $50... More

We booked two nights in a deluxe cabin. It had two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, kitchenette and living room with TV. It was perfect for 4 adults/3 children. (kids loved the log bunk beds). Kitchen is stocked with pots/pans, plates, cups, etc. and a coffee maker (no toaster). Free Wi-Fi too. Beds aren't the most comfortable but at least not... More

I'd like to say this first, because my wife and I always witness this; if you're new to camping, please visit your campsite to get things set-up during daylight instead of spending the day at the amusement park or arriving sometime after midnight. On multiple occasions we've witnessed people who've waited very late to arrive at their site who are... More

My husband, our granddaughter and I spent one night in a cabin. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning and were immediately check into our cabin. It was extremely clean and well stocked. The beds were hard, but we like them that way. We took the convenient shuttle to Carowinds where we spent the day. We returned by shuttle to... More

There are many pros and cons to staying at this resort. First and foremost unless you are specifically here to visit Carowinds this probably is not the place for you. The resorts buts to the theme parks employee entrance and storage buildings. Its very noisy here. During the day you will hear non-stop noise from the park. In addition to... More
