I booked a room through Hotel Tonight which was a great deal for my last minute stay. All the receptionist were really helpful. Breakfast was in need of some work. The eggs were overcooked and the bacon was burnt so I skipped it all together even though it was included in my stay. I would stay again but eat out.

We stayed in December, so the grounds were not in bloom. We walked around and could imagine how wonderful it is during spring and summer, when the weddings are held. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We like how all the rooms are different, and we will stay here again. You can walk to bars and restaurants easily. We...

This is a very comfortable and well located place to stay in Charlotte. However, if you are there for business it is not in the downtown. Be aware that Google maps sent us to the sister location near downtown.

We were immediately welcomed by a friendly staff member. She gave us a great tour of the estate and made us feel very welcome. She made sure we had everything we needed and we were informed of necessary information. One thing I would recommend is that the Estate install some lights on their roadside signage - it is a bit...

I booked the Estate for a business trip because it was centrally located and close to the convention center (I drove). Upon check-in, I was brought to my room, The Magnolia Room, which was in the carriage house. I am very glad that it was on the second floor. There were two rooms that were literally on either side of...

Staying here I got more than just a room I got an experience. Well worth my time, I loved being here. I stayed in the Pine in the Carriage House which was nice and secluded just the way I like it. Nothing disturbed me and the 5 acres of garden are breathtaking. Staff is amazing; I would definitely stay again!

I had to evacuate my home in Myrtle Beach, SC due to the incoming storm. I found this establishment and was excited because it was one of very few locations still available that accepted pets. Check in was fast, easy, and friendly. I stayed in the Magnolia room in the carriage house. It was a clean and spacious room with...

This problem happen about two years ago. For my wife's birthday, I had booked a night at The VanLandingham Estate. Granted, I booked it through a through a third-party agent — Trivago maybe — and it was a deal, meaning discounted. I booked it a few weeks in advance. We were to stay the night and attend a concert. However,...

I'm sorry to hear that our staff wasn't more helpful once you arrived. That's not what we expect as an acceptable level of care. I only wish that you had informed us of your dissatisfaction sooner than two years after it occurred. What I recall about your issue is that the third party on-line booking agency did have an issue...

I am from Charlotte originally and stayed here while my mom was in the hospital. Welcoming staff and beautiful surroundings - thank you - breakfast was home cooked and delicious. Super convenient location.

We were making a long trek south and needed a welcoming stay. So we avoided the highway big name choices and we're so glad we did. This charming inn was perfect and we enjoyed a bit of real hospitality and a home cooked breakfast. We walked 10 minutes through a lovely neighborhood to the main thoroughfare and found lots of...
