This is a 3 start hotel trying to be a 5 star. When I arrived there was no one at the valet stand. I went into the hotel and after 3-4 minutes managed to find the front desk in what I thought was the gift shop. The receptionist was nice but seemed like she was just out of high school. The elevator which only goes up one floor took way too long and did not work at all on the checkout day. The room was nice ( a corner balcony ) but the electrical curtains did not work properly ( tried to open the shears but they would immediately close back). The dining area was nice with a coffee shop feel but had a limited menu due to a recent kitchen fire. Our valet Tyler was very nice. Over all this is a good plan B hotel but will not be my first choice in the future

Hotel's Favorite
This little boutique hotel perfectly situated in downtown Charlotte is my favorite hotel I’ve stayed. Both times I stayed, the rooms have been amazing, the staff very courteous and accommodating, and the location is perfect. The rooms are so nicely designed/decorated and pleasantly unique from any other hotel. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Charlotte or a way to spend a romantic weekend, look no further than The Ivey’s!

This is by far the most beautifully designed hotel I've ever stayed at. Our room was amazing; we had the room with a huge balcony behind the hotel sign. Xhan was our valet and he was super attentive and a pleasure to meet.

Great valet service from Tyler and Jeffery. Used the service on a busy holiday weekend. It was super convenient to drop the car with the valet right in front of the hotel and text them anytime I needed the car!

We were in Charlotte 5/20-23 as a last minute trip. We were greeted by friendly staff from the time we made the reservations until when we loaded up in the cab to head back to the airport. Superb service and hospitality coming from everyone! Special shout-out to Adam! He went above and beyond our expectations!
