What a treasure! Traveling down South on college tours with my daughter and stumbled upon this hotel. High recommend! The local theme was very cool and the hotel’s location can’t be beat. The front desk staff were very friendly and the rooms were comfortable, updated, and clean.

This facility offered everything we needed while we had to be near the UNC hospital for a couple of days. Loved the thematic tie-in with UNC basketball - the "gym" in the inner courtyard, the scoreboard front desk, the repurposed court flooring in our room - and the special room keys. Above all, it was clean, comfortable and conveniently located...with great helpful, friendly staff.

They offer no coffee. No breakfast. They place bottles of water in the room but be careful they are $5 a piece though they seem complimentary. I have stayed in many hotels during Covid. Most hotels during Covid make coffee, water and a breakfast “to go” kiosk available either in the room or the lobby. When I asked the front desk where I could find the morning coffee they offered to make me a Keurig cup that was located in their office. So to get coffee you have to ask them to make it for you. No one tells you this when you check in. I found out by chance. Bottom line, if you want coffee or food in the morning you have to leave the hotel. Which to me is crazy. I got the vibe that the hotels main goal is to make money off the alums who come for the games.

Unlike many others' experiences with the Graduate, I, a current student at UNC-Chapel Hill, had the pleasure of staying in the hotel for a semester. The Graduate has treated me as one of their own with unbelievable hospitality and kindness. The staff has constantly engaged in conversations with us when needed and they have been nothing but the most encouraging people. The past semester was an absolute magic ride for me and it was done so well because of their wonderful staff and the great amenities of this fine establishment. I will certainly stay at the Graduate in any future visits at other colleges. Strongly recommended them to everyone!
