A lovely secluded property nestled amongst the trees in the beautiful mountains of Cashiers and near the crossroads with a multitude of shops at your fingertips . Wonderful landscaping with ponds and fairylit gazebos surround the rooms, and a nature trail is available for walking. Rooms are small but impeccably clean and nicely appointed. The staff is warm and wonderful,... More

Had to be in Cashiers for 3 nights and needed a place to stay . Had stayed there before 20 yrs ago and was glad they had a room. It was extra nice after some hectic trips and chain hotels to check in to a room that was like moving in to bed and breakfast. Room 109 is on the... More

I stayed at this in for an overnight in Cashiers while attending a wedding. The office manager was extremely welcoming and helpful. My room was a queen room next to the office. While the inn is older, I found my room to be immaculately clean. The inn does not have spectacular mountain views, but it has a nice front porch... More

After reading the reviews I thought this sounded like a good place to go for our 50th anniversary. The outside appearance was o.k but parking was crowded, no turn around space. The room had a squeaky floor that you could feel give when you walked. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper and what appeared to be a smoked up ceiling over... More

After 21 years of owning our inn, one thing I have learned is you can't please everyone all the time! Here is a recent review from the same room the above guest stayed in. "Sheets and towels were perfect. Beds were very comfortable unlike many we have stayed at." Another, "301 is a wonderful room, be sure to ask for... More

The Laurelwood Inn was recommended by a local innkeeper that was sold out for the night. What a pleasant surprise! Lisa and Bob, the owners, made us feel right at home. This property has many levels of comfort and privacy nestled between nature trails and a neat water fixture right out front of our cabin. This was really a great... More

Going in the fall to view the foliage of the mountains is a long-standing favorite and this Inn was ideal for our needs. It was conveniently located, but felt secluded and private. The room was spacious and had all the amenities (gas logs, skylights). It looked rustic, but was strong on comfort. Staff was great too.

The Inn looked great from photos and in person. But we couldnt adjust the room temperature or the fan, they didnt give us an internet code and the bed wasnt so comfortable. But the owners were great because we left an item, and they were kind enough to call us and hold the item for us--thank you!

A beautiful and cozy place for a getaway. The grounds are well maintained, a great playground for kids, fish ponds etc. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that had a cozy fireplace, comfy beds and a nice big jet tub to relax in after hiking. The owners and managers are amazing, accommodating and kind. We will definitely be back!

Met and exceeded my expectation! My family and I were immediately greeted by the property manager and she was delightful! Allowed us to check in an hour early, what a relief considering we just drove more than 3 hours to get here with a toddler. The playground was great for my 3 year old. The grounds are well maintained, the... More
