Atlantic Towers was an awesome place. So close to the ocean, 2 pools, amazing views and friendly staff. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because of the room - Room 212. The beds were as hard as a rock and the sleeper sofa was not even comfortable for sitting, much less sleeping. The photos showed a different sofa and a recliner, which was not even in the room. Atlantic Towers is great, but the owners really need to update the furniture. Will definitely stay again but not in this room.
We booked condo 701 for the weekend after Labor Day, 9/6-9/8/2019 a few weeks ago. Then Hurricane Dorian threatened our coast. Less than 1 hour after mandatory evacuations were issued, I received a call from Atlantic Towers offering to either reschedule or to refund our deposit. These people are taking care of their customers before they evacuate themselves, and our refund process is already pending! That extremely high level of customer service just blew me away! Unfortunately, I could not reschedule, but we definitely plan to reschedule our stay with them SOON, and look forward to it even more than ever! I hope y'all evacuate or are in a safe location and prepared for this storm!
Stayed on the fifth floor, Unit 511, and loved it. Beautiful interior. Unit had everything we needed and rocking chairs on the balcony. Will stay here again, hopefully in the same unit. Staff plans special activities for holidays.
This is a great, reasonably priced place to stay on the beach. Rooms are always clean, service is always great - we've never had any problem with Atlantic Towers. The GREATEST thing is that YOU get to go online and pick out your own room! Every room is decorated and furnished differently, so you can pick out your own style. The rooms come with a full kitchen, so you have the option of cooking your own meals and saving a ton of money. We usually cook our own breakfast and go out to a nice restaurant once every day while staying there. There's a great pier farther down the beach to fish on. It's a beautiful, clean beach and it is close to Wilmington if you want to go shopping, to a movie or eating at higher-end restaurants. We live in SC, but hate going to Myrtle Beach because of the crowds and traffic. Carolina Beach is MUCH better and more private. It's a better get-away if you like the peace and privacy of a private beach resort. Summer months are more crowded with kids out of school, but it's still worth checking out. NOTE: if you have kids, there are not many activities here like there are at bigger beaches for kids- no water slides or putt-putts.…
I come back here every summer and absolutely love it! great ocean front condos with perfect balcony's to listen to the waves. The two pools are great for when the ocean is to rough to swim in. This is a perfect place if you're just looking to relax on the beach or poolside all day. The room was clean and staff was friendly.
