The beautiful backdrop of Pisgah Mountain, the abundance of delicious food, the convenience of the cabins and cottages and the welcoming people at Pisgah View Ranch made my daughter's wedding weekend exactly what she wanted it to be. Cindy planted fresh fall flowers and added bitter sweet to the railing of the steps where the bride was to enter. Carolyn... More

We arrived on a sunny afternoon to a spectacular view of the mountain with the ranch as a background. We were staying in one of the individual houses, which are very oid and out dated, with no TV or hairdryer, with WiFi only available on ranch porch, however the ranch has a rustic charm of its own with entertainment provided... I was a bride at this venue in September. To all brides, if you are considering this place as a venue for your country/rustic themed wedding this place was the best! I'll break it down: I planned my wedding as a destination wedding. I was in another state, and relied on the wonderful staff to help with several items Preplanning:... More

A disappointing stay at this ranch. The cabin was outdated, needed paint and considerable maintenance. The window of the bathroom was rotten, the chest of drawers wouldn't open. There was rubbish outside the cabin. Some facilities to make coffee would have been appreciated rather than walking through a frosty field in the morning. Dinner was home cooked and tasty but... From the pictures and reviews we were so excited to be going to this ranch. When going up the steps to the old dirty porch our expectations plummeted. We have been fortunate to have travelled a lot and we have never stayed at such run down and very tired cabin. It was a three bedroom cabin and that was great... More

We had a dog friendly log cabin off by ourselves. We had a small refrigerator and 2 double beds and a porch to sit outside and listen to nature. We could see the horses at the barn from our porch. We toke a horseback ride up the mountain. We met a lot of nice people and had incredibly delicious food.... More

My husband and I spent 4 days in Walnut cabin. The ranch is very beautiful and everyone there is very helpful. The meals they serve are delicious and very plentiful. Everyone who works there will do anything they can for you. They also have very unique entertainment. While we were there they had square dancing bluegrass music and a very... More

This was my first visit to PVR and it won't be my last.. everything was beautiful! it was magical and I hated to leave. My visit was too short and next time it will be longer! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. There was a professional storyteller there at night so we toasted s'mores around the campfire... More

This was our 2nd visit since May, once again we had a great time. This review is mostly about the food. We ate supper with them on Sat. It was out of this world. We had bbq, baked chicken, potato wedges, slaw, baked beans, corn on the cob, cornbread, last but not least blackberry cobbler. The next morning for breakfast... More

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids 16 and 13) spent 4 days at the ranch in July 2015. Wow! We stayed in Sunrise and it had plenty of room as well as 2 baths and a mini fridge. The meals were huge and delicious! Horseback rides were exemplary. Nightly entertainment was "just right" -- candle making (great souvenir),... More
