Sites fine. No concrete slab. Took dog on leash into pool area so that I could watch my young children swim and was quickly told that I could not have doc in there. So much for being dog friendly...I have stayed at hotels that are way more welcoming than this camp site!

I would like to thank the extremely friendly staff. Thank you for making us feel welcome. A warm welcome is always encouraging when arriving at a campsite that you have never stayed at before. The campground was very clean, the trash pick up was greatly appreciated. My biggest compliment was that your campground had a handicapped (and very large) shower.... More

Convenient when traveling for a one nighter. Very close to highway and the noise is over powering. We were just doing a one nighter and were tired. Pull thrus were tight unlevel and horrible gravel made walking and sitting uncomfortable. Not impressed with this KOA was expecting so much more. We were close to office and pool. Staff was helpful... More

It's a good stop if traveling and need to stay a night. Smaller size KOA with clean facilities. The staff are very good. However, the traffic is heavy on I40 and only a football field away. I would think that they would have located a bit further from 140. The other KOA has trains as well, so I guess this... More

Spent a Saturday night here. I made reservations and then read the reviews and almost cancelled. We stayed in a tent site and the noise almost everyone complains about really wasn't that bad. We could actually here the music from a nearby campsite over any of the road noise and it was playing a very low level. The hosts were... More

We had reservations and called to see if we could get in early and stay a day late. The juggled around the sites and were able to accommodate us. The staff were friendly at check in. nice gravel lot with some trees.Quiet and slept soundly. Clean laundry, showers and game room. Close to many nature adventures. Would stay again if... More

We are frugal so chose to stay here while exploring Asheville. We got there later (around 9pm or so) and a staff member was there to great us and guide us to our site - that was great! It is near highway, we were luckily to have a site near the back. Noise was not that bad but there is... More

Our family which is very large comes from NC and KY to join for a weekend trip every year. We have done it now for 3 years and this upcoming May will be our 4th. We rent all the five cabins, the lodge and the cottage. Lodge and cottage are very close to the cabins area if you are in... More

Spent 1 night here on our way home to Ohio. It was raining all afternoon and night. Yes the roads and sites are dirt and not paved, but there was very little mud. Checkin was easy and Heather was very friendly and helpful. Since there were very few customers she put us in F6 right across from the restrooms. Restrooms... More

The only reason I don't rate it highest is because it did not have the paved streets and sites that some of the "resort" RV parks have. However, everything else about the place was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. We needed a site for a 40' motor coach and a near-by cabin with facilities. On pretty short... More
