Excellent accommodations! The staff is extremely pleasant, the room was spotless clean & meal was amazing. Thank you to all that made our stay wonderful. You are welcomed from the moment you arrive and they meet every need!
This Inn is exceptional and was the perfect spot to celebrate our 31st Anniversary! Discovered them during Covid though they hadn't opened back up yet. So were thrilled to be able to finally book a visit. Ashley and Alicia were very helpful and enthusiastic about our upcoming stay. They recommended a room and made the arrangements. On the day of, I called as instructed and Melissa graciously let me know our room was ready for an early check in. Our room, Morning Glory was lovely, cozy and offered an amazing view of the sound. Melissa went out of her way the first night insuring we had everything we needed. The breakfasts in the restaurant each morning were gourmet! So thankful the chef thinks outside of the "cereal box" and created some wonderful dishes. And we must add they have some of the BEST coffee we've experienced!! Amy, Jasmine, Aylah , and her sweet mom, Natasha were some of the loveliest and hard working ladies we've met. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our special breakfasts!! And what a treat on the last morning to have live music too. Their amenities are extensive. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks, paddelboards, pool and yes the yummy treats in the afternoon!! We were able to extend our stay and though our room wasn't available we were moved to another suite, Sea Oats. A lovely room with a private deck, where we enjoyed a romantic dinner for two at sunset. Karen, the housekeeper was so sweet and extremely helpful. Even moved all of our luggage when we changed rooms! And made sure we had extra micro popcorn so we wouldn't have to share! ; -) (inside joke!) And we must mention our conversation with the owner, Steve. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with him about the history of the inn and his vision for giving couples a much needed getaway to rekindle and relax. What a huge blessing!! Will the Inn on Pamlico Sound be put on our "MUST RETURN" list?!? Absolutely. These folks are family now.…
The Inn at Pamlico Sound was idyllic. My mom and I took a trip, off season, and stayed at The Inn on Pamlico Sound for one night; we wish we had one, or two, more. We were greeted very kindly by the owner/general manager, Steve, who upgraded our room complimentarily. We ended up staying in the Hyacinth room which has a gorgeous view of the sound. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The included breakfast was one of the BEST meals that we’ve had in a while. Our server, Melissa, was extremely friendly and kind making the experience even more special. I will be bringing my husband here for sure.
The Inn on Pamlico Sound is in a class by itself. I give it my highest rating. It is a wonderful place to get away for a peaceful stay in tastefully comfortable accommodations and to enjoy a phenomenal dining experience. The staff is uncommonly professional and welcoming. We have stayed at the Inn many times and will return.
My wife and I loved staying at the Inn in the quiet off season. The view across the sound was peaceful and the sunset over the water was beautiful. There are fun local events in the winter - we had fun eating lots of steamed oysters and meeting new friends at the Coastal Carolina Federation sponsored oyster roast on the docks of Hatteras. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious with excellent service by Justin and Melissa. I can’t think of a better way to spend a February weekend.
The Inn at Pamlico Sound was spectacular. Ashley checked us in, gave us a tour and made us feel like family. The room was awesome. Spacious room, beautifully decorated with a large balcony. The view was far more than we had hoped for. Breakfast… could not have been better. We look forward to visiting again.
Amazing! A wonderful experience from start to finish. Melissa and Meredith were easy to get in touch with and had a plan for every thing that came up even at the last minute, from the passing of family members to the change in numbers at the last minute. These ladies handled everything with grace and sensitivity keeping the ball rolling and making everything perfect! All we got complements from every guest on the food, venue and decorations—- all of which was done by the inn. > > We have already booked are 1 year anniversary for 2023! Looking forward to a lifetime of memories at the inn!
The resort was closed for Christmas Eve & day, but we were stranded due to the flooding. The staff went outta their way to assure us we were welcome to stay, & Melissa made it a point to drive us into town for supplies before everything closed down for the 2 day holiday. The Inn was wonderful before we got stuck, but they really shined under adversity, & that showed their real core values. Well done, Inn on Pamlico Sound!
From the smell (and taste) of warm cookies at check in, to our fantastic server Melissa at dinner, our stay again was fantastic! The sunset views are incredible and the grounds and room were on point! This is the 2nd birthday (November 15) that we have driven south to spend the night and celebrate! We will continue to recommend the inn and we will be back! We also purchased a gift certificate to gift to a dear friend for Christmas!!
We loved this Inn! Beautiful rooms, excellent location and a personal touch. I have already recommended it to our family and friends. It's a unique place to stay. We would definitely stay there again!
