Rooms were very clean and it smelled like Coconut when we came in. Beds were comfy and it had a convenient location, with a Supermarket across the street. It's also pet friendly which is hard to find! Enjoyed my stay and would stay again!

Camp Pines Hotel was the most reasonable place I could find in Buxton. Room was clean and comfortable. Location near supermarket, restaurants, and ocean made it convenient. Dogs are allowed for $10 per night. I would stay there again. Friendly staff.

Cape Pines Motel is a quaint, gem discovered on trip advisor. Our room was clean, updated bathroom comfortable. Pool great, propane & charcoal grills, convenient access to the ORV ramps/ocean grocery store across the street pet friendly, discovered a trail behind the motel leading to a neat gift shop. We will stay again.

We stayed on a trip through OBX. This was a convenient location. Close to restaurants and on the main road. It's always good to have a refrigerator in the room as we often travel with some food to keep cold. Spacious rooms. Would certainly stay again.

Decent rooms, better than your basic beach accommodations on Hatteras Island. Really about 3.5. I stayed for three days, cleaning crew did an admirable job. Well maintained older hotel. The tv is kind of ratty, my room had one of the old box types. In proper summer, you probably won't watch it much anyways. Easy walk across the street to...

Sorry if parking at times was a bit tough. Parking spaces are first-come-first-serve, so we make sure to provide plenty of space so it's not too far of a walk. Still, we hope that didn't take away from your trip! Thanks for staying with us -- we hope the rest of your visit went well. All the best, Angie &...

I've stayed here several times, in the summer when going on pelagic birding trips, and in the winter when volunteering with the Hatteras Christmas Bird Count. I've always slept well and never had problems. Because I've been birding, I often have to check in very late or check out very early, and they have always been fine with whatever I...

Don't judge a book by it cover. What a wonderful surprise when we walked into our rooms. The rooms are spacious, neat and clean. Nice homey touches around the room. Family owned and operated. Very helpful and friendly. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We chose this motel as we were taking an early ferry the next morning and we were very happy with our choice. We were able to check in early and our deluxe king room was very clean, spacious, quiet and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

I just returned from my third stay at Cape Pines Motel, 14-20 April, 2016. As usual, room 12 was immaculate upon arrival. Although the room is equipped with everything one needs to prepare a meal, we like to eat out and dispense with washing dishes while in Buxton. The missus joined me on 16 April with her dogs and Odin,...
