My husband and I stayed here the 4th of July weekend and this was such a relaxing quaint "homey" place to spend our weekend. The owners were extremely friendly and seemed very proud of their place. It's comfortable, and plenty of room and the bathroom shower was great!!!!! We would definitely recommend staying here😃

Motorcycle trip to Little Switzerland, and hotels were expensive there...this was 21 beautiful miles from that area. The town was old and empty when we arrived on a Sunday, and didn't look friendly, but the Inn was so cute, and the owners were so nice, we decided to give it a shot. Gravel lot, which wasn't to deep to park... More

We stayed 2 nights at this motel in order to Visit friends in the area. Our room was nice, clean, equipped with Flat Screen TV, refrigerator and microwave, 2 double beds covered with beautiful quits, plenty of light from big windows (we stayed on a corner). Bathroom was spacious but the showed was pretty small (not big deal). The only... More

The owners are really very nice! The landscape outside is well done and inviting. Other then traffic noise it was quiet. The light next to the door shone through the door windows making it hard to sleep. Beds are very creaky and my spouse and I kept waking each other up when turning over. Dark brown towels that can't be... More

The CCI was well-maintained, clean, and VERY affordable. There were not many amenities, but the main one was great: the innkeeper. He's originally from Zimbabwe, and has a delightfully droll British sense of humor: "That's my van down there near your room. When you park, try not to crash into it." There's no breakfast, but Hardee's, with its wonderful biscuits,... More

I was out hiking all day and didnt have cell signal or wifi to look up locations. I finally made it to Spruce Pine and just zoomed in on the maps and called hotels (limited options) but i found this place- and let me tell you- its the cutest little place ever. Its not some fancy shmancy NYC hotel but... More

Book here! It was very clean, beds were very comfortable, and the owner was very hospitable. It's probably the best deal we've ever had for our money at that price. It's within walking distance of downtown Burnsville and is within easy driving distance of the Mt. Mitchell trailhead and/or peak. If we return, we'll stay here again.

Great hotel for the price. The owners were friendly and I felt they truly cared about their clients. The room it's self was plenty nice for sleeping and catching up on some work emails. I thought that the tile shower was a nice touch along with the ceiling fan light over the bed being controlled by a dimmer. Outside of... More

My husband, daughter and fiancé stayed at the Carolina Country Inn this past fall to plan our upcoming daughter's wedding this coming fall. The innkeepers were so friendly, helpful and made us feel so welcome! They went out of their way and the accommodations, although small were clean and cozy. Great value for the money! We all loved the small... More

The host, Trevor, is a very affable fellow and nice to chat with. The room we had in this older facility has been brought up to date, and the decor is quite tasteful. And this may be the cleanest and most well taken care of room I've ever stayed in. The price was reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
