We have stayed at many B&B’s over the past few years and I must say the Folkstone Inn was one of the best! The owners were delightful and very knowledgeable about the area. Their culinary background was much appreciated with homemade delicious farm to table gourmet breakfasts! They even make their own bacon and ham! A real treat…and speaking of treat there were freshly baked cookies every afternoon. We stayed in a room on the upper floor with a very comfy king size bed, private bath and our own balcony overlooking the lovely yard. There were no tv’s on premise but we really never missed it. The ambiance is quiet, peaceful and very relaxing which is exactly what we found to be so charming. We have recommended the Folkstone Inn to friends already and plan on visiting again sometime in the future. Thank you Toni for your warm hospitality!…
My husband and I just spent 7 nights at the Folkestone Inn, using it as home base for exploring the Smoky Mountains NP. The location proved to be perfect for this, as it was away from the most congested areas of the park, but within a reasonable drive to everywhere we wanted to go. We stayed in the Wrens and Warblers room, and enjoyed its charming decor and balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds. Toni was so helpful, with her direct and candid suggestions regarding where to go and what to see. Scott's breakfasts were scrumptious and creative, fortifying us each morning for our busy days ahead. Highly recommend!
Fantastic hosts, Tony and Scott are very down to earth and happy to accommodate all your needs. The best part is the food that Scott cooks, oh my goodness does that man have a talent for the kitchen. The inn is also in a great spot, you need to rent a car in order to have the best experience possible.
We had a fabulous long weekend at the Inn. Toni and Scott were warm and welcoming, and we felt very safe with their Covid protocol. The gourmet breakfasts were the best we've had at a bed and breakfast inn. The rooms were cozy and we felt so relaxed during our stay. Highly recommend this venue!
We spent 3 days at the Folkstone Inn recently. If you are looking for a cozy and relaxing retreat to come back to after a day of driving and sightseeing, this is your B&B! The owners, Scott and Toni, are both gracious hosts. Their attention to detail make their home worth visiting. Toni is a wealth of information about all things local. Scott's farm to table breakfasts were incredible! It was a savory feast each morning, including farm fresh eggs, house smoked and cured bacon, homemade cinnamon rolls, blueberry muffins.....too much goodness! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
