Beautiful place to stay, in a peaceful location and yet just a few minutes away from the restaurants and shops. The room was very comfortable and the hosts welcoming. Good breakfast with a view on the lovely garden and the Smoky Mountains.

We spent seven days at McKinley Edwards: Mariann was welcoming, friendly and went out of her way to help us with any request. The room was comfortable, and breakfasts were excellent. The location is convenient to the Smoky Mountain Park, nice restaurants, and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad (a fun trip). We had a great time and would highly recommend this Inn.

What a great place to come while visiting the area or riding the train. Nice comfortable rooms, good breakfast and wonderful outside seating area. Inn Keepers - the best. When looking on map , thought we could walk to the train, only half a mile - but found the half a mile was up a mountain, really just a high hill, but no problem - plenty of parking in Bryson City. Just a really pleasant stay - didn't want to leave!

Very nice, friendly couple owns and runs the Inn. Pretty grounds. Nice intimate, cozy, charming, secluded Inn. Sixteen guest rooms. The owner/operator couple are mainly the only staff. Close to downtown. Each guest room is different. Rooms can be viewed on the Inn’s website. Nice daily breakfast hand prepared by owner and served in dining room. No “restaurant” on premises. Only drawback, no elevators to access 2nd and 3rd floors, so book a first floor room unless you don’t mind climbing stairs. No toiletries in room. Guest rooms do have microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, iron, ironing board, hair dryer. Vending machines with limited items in office reception area. Views from guest rooms are of the property. Indoor and outdoor seating, patio. Koi pond. Would prefer better door mats to absorb wetness, mud, debris, etc. from shoes before entry to room, as well as a mat just inside the room door, as rooms are not carpeted. Also, only one hand towel is provided, unless guest ask for more. I don’t like sharing hand towels. Overall, I recommend this property and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Thank you so much for your review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us. My husband and I are the innkeepers, but, I am sure the owners are happy that we made you feel welcome and at home. Yes, we pretty much are a two man team. I have made nots of your suggestions and will discuss with the owners about the door mats. Our pet rooms do have wood vinyl flooring so perhaps a mat inside as well would be helpful. All of our rooms that sleep up to four guests do have additional hand towels and we will be happy to provide an additional one upon request. We do hope to see you again in the future.

The McKinley Edwards in is a beautiful place with the best inn keeper hosts you could ask for. Very cozy and clean. The grounds are spectacular and laid out as your retreat away from home. If you’re looking for a place to stay while in Bryson City, this is the place you will want to lay your head. Very close to everywhere.

Cozy, homelike, friendly sums up my experience. Convenient to downtown Bryson City, the room was comfortable with a four post bed. Breakfast was varied and the dining room setting beautiful. The firepit was a bonus for cold nights.

My two teen boys and I spent a night here to explore the NC side of the Smokies. Janice and her husband were friendly and welcoming. The property is lovely with a koi pond and big patio. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and they accommodated our dietary preferences. We recommend this sweet little bnb.

We absolutely loved our stay in this amazing B&B. The hosts are very nice and friendly. They gave us an amazing welcome. The breakfast that they prepared for us the next day was so delicious too. We were asked what we wanted and what time we would like to be served, and we got everything we asked for. The host cooked us an amazing omelette and fruit parfait! The room was beautiful and clean. We really enjoyed staying there. The bed was super comfortable, and we had a great night of sleep. The property is very beautiful and well-kept. It is just around 15 min walk to the Main Street. I would recommend this B&B to everyone. It is very unique, friendly, and so so worth it. Liza and Charles.

Being greeted by John upon our arrival and given a tour of the grounds was such a pleasant surprise. This place is absolutely beautiful inside and out and they go out of their way to make you feel like this is your home while you are there! His wifes home made breakfast quiche was delicious and the entire breakfast spread was wonderful!
