The Hummingbird was a wonderful place to stay. The cabin was extremely clean, cozy, and comfortable. Large kitchen and nearby grocery stores for cooking in. Multiple fireplaces to use depending on weather (porch fireplace, indoor gas, and outdoor). Plenty of tips and guides provided to help you plan your day. Lovely little chicken coup with fresh morning eggs and rabbits hangout there as well. Everything you need is provided and thought of - binoculars, matches, flashlights, etc. Excellent place to stay and is nearby Deep Creek for trails, tubing and more

We stayed at the Eagles Nest and had the best time! We are a large family and had more than enough room to spread out! The kids loved the polar express!! We cannot recommend this cabin enough. The Christmas tree was the perfect touch❤️

We stayed in the Eagle's Nest cabin for a few days right before Christmas 2022. It was wonderful! The cabin had everything we needed--and more. It was very clean and well-maintained. The caretaker, Joe, was always nearby but never intrusive. He was great with our grandkids! When not hanging out at the cabin (watching Christmas movies, soaking in the hot tub, doing a puzzle, playing games, eating (too much...) we did the local "3 Waterfalls" hike, saw the elk herd at Smoky Mountains National Park, rode the Polar Express, saw the Tunnel to Nowhere, and explored downtown Bryson City. We would definitely come back, and will also recommend Lands Creek Log Cabins to our friends.

This beautiful cabin is equipped with everything you can possibly need! Just bring your food and you're all set. The owner is nearby, and was so helpful with information about the property and the area. Eagle's Nest is ten minutes to town, but quiet and secluded--the perfect spot for a getaway with family or friends. This is a very kid-friendly property, and even comes with chickens and bunnies to visit and feed! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Wonderful gathering spaces indoors and outdoors at the cabin. We spent many hours in front of the outdoor covered fireplace on a rainy day- so cozy! We traveled The Polar Express and came back to a surprise visit by our elf Twinkle sitting on the hearth - personalized letters left for each grandchild. The house was decorated for Christmas- very festive. So many little touches that made us feel at home. And first time adventures too - like feeding Joe and Lisa’s chickens. Cabin very clean- and well maintained with comfortable beds. Great place to spend mountain getaways.

We so enjoyed our time this weekend at Lands Creek! We had a very large group staying in lots of cabins, and our vote was unanimous! Beautiful, comfortable accommodations for alll ages! Fireplaces, hot tubs, great porch views! Our Eagle’s Nest group had ages 5-71, and we all enjoyed our stay!! The Lodge was incredible with an outside wedding, great reception! Lots of hiking!! Bunnies and hens were our grandchildren’s first thoughts every morning! Def a plus!!

Our Family just came back from vacation an we stayed at the Eagle's Nest. this year will make our 6th year in a row staying with Lands Creek Log Cabins. If you plan on booking a vacation Lands Creek is the place to go. Everytime we stay we never want to leave, the area is very clean and well organized. The staff are very polite and helpful. There are many things to do as Lands Creek is conveniently located from Cherokee an many other attractions. Our kids absolutely love it there. We always start our vacation in Cherokee with a full day of tubing in the creek and letting the kids swim and taking them to all the shops. Fontana lake is only 10 mins away. If i could give them a 10 star review i would we absolutely enjoy it every year we come and wouldnt consider planning a vacation anywhere else. The kids also love the creek that is located at Lands Creek, They could spend hours swimming in the creek!. Thank You Lands Creek for all the memories we have made throughout the years that our kids will cherish. We look forward to our stay next year!

It has been too many years since we've been to see you. We were one of the first ones in Squirrel Cabin. Nothing else was there except the house that Robin had built. Sue wasn't even there yet. We came back around a dozen times and then Life took over!! Some of the Best Memories of my life. That and learning to fly fish with Steve Claxton. My heart aches to go back and see everything and everyone. LOVE THIS PLACE TO PIECES!!! If you have never been here, you owe it to yourself to make those reservations!! LOVE TO YOU ALL!!!! PS- the date chosen is not correct. We stayed here from 10-2000 thru about 2016??
