We stayed at the tent site 45. Reserved for a whole weekend. River flooded out campsites on first night. Police came and fellow campers helped. People rushing to get kids out of tents before river came in tents. Some people lost a lot. Camp staff was nowhere to be found. Most of our gear ruined. Called to get refund and...

We enjoyed our two-night stay in the Deer cabin. It's very small and honestly more like an air conditioned tent. The cabin itself is not equipped like a hotel. So plan to bring toiletries and paper products, sheets, pillows, etc. We mostly stayed outside and really only used the cabin for sleep and bathroom needs. If you're expecting glamping or...

I was excited about going tubing for the first time, but was very disappointed. The creek really isn't that deep and the number of times we had to get out to just get unstuck was crazy. At times it was nice, but then shallow part would creep up and either cause a new bruise or aggravation of having to get...

You get to see so much floating down the river! Cheap entertainment and you can't beat that. I recommend packing a cooler/picnic and eating between rounds of tubing. You can go as many times as you want for $5! We had so much fun and would totally do it again!

My family of 4 met my sister family of 6 and we shared the Farm House. Kitchen wasn't a full kitchen. We had to run out and by a toaster. No hand soap, nothing. You have to buy it all. Blankets on beds smelled musty and had gritty sand on them. Floors were gross. They don't even provide door mats...

You'll have an active float on deep creek! It is really easy to get to in Bryson City. There are many outfits that will sell you the tubes for $5. We didn't camp on this vacation, but stayed in a cabin. We found that this place was really helpful loading and unloading the tubes from your car/SUV. However, they don't...

We booked our vacation back in February based on the fact that this campground was in a convienant location and that it look great online. I read a few of the reviews after I paid our deposit and got a bit afraid that we might have made a horrible mistake. After staying here with our three kids for an entire...

Well keep campground. Grass cut and trimmed. Get a scoop of ice cream and sit in a rocking chair on the porch of the store. Kids had a blast playing each night in the fort and chasing lightning bugs. You'll enjoy it if you like to camp. The campground is leads than a mile to the national park.

We rented a cabin near the creek. The cabins are clean and well equipped. The location is fantastic, very close to town, close to the National park and any activity you may find of interest. The campground has everything you need. The General store is adorable and all the products are very reasonably priced and the ice cream is so...

“The mountain view RV sites and creek side tent sites are great. The RV creek sites are pretty, but the RV sites have big boulders along the creek, and it is a bit deep, so might not be the best for small kids.”
