We had the best time at Adventure Village. We stayed in a camping cabin by the babbling brook. Loved the evenings by the fire pit 🔥 . We hiked to many waterfalls and truly enjoyed our stay. We are so looking forward to coming back.
Enjoyed walking m y dog on the trails there, although you pretty much had to find them on your own. Just ask if you don't want to find yourself, there are several trails throughout grounds. Fish pond at night sitting on picnic tables under the bright full moon was nice. Peace and quiet by the babbling creek would put anyone into a coma like deep sleep.
No hot water in the shower, yet the sink two feet away had hot water. Nothing like hiking all day and not being able to shower afterwards. The loft is a joke. A small dog or cat is all that will fit up there, or what you'd want sleeping on the " mattress" that is up there. The day bed mattress have way out lived their lives. Would have been better to bring a sleeping bag and slept on the floor, except it hasn't been cleaned in quite some time. Huge disappointment.
We have stayed at Adventure Village Campground & Lodging for years. We spent the July 4th weekend here. It couldn't have been better. Great place to make memories as a family. We enjoyed the pool, the playground, the friendly family atmosphere, clean facilities, pretty campsites, and the awesome fireworks display they put on. This family has put a lot of effort into keeping this place up and relevant as time goes on. You'd be hard pressed to find a better place. We've stayed in our RV and rented cabins. Always good no matter which one we do.
Saw a post in the Transylvania times for a cabin rental. I needed to burn up a couple of months... prior to a scheduled trip to Wyoming. Booked a cabin ( #3) sight unseen and crossed my fingers. I have experience camping and renting "cabins." I've been on the road for 10 years now. Beautiful cute, well kept spotless cabin next to a little gurgling stream. This "village" includes campsites, RV sites, additional cabins, welcome center office, large pond with 40 lb. catfish, a pretty outdoors swimming pool, and hiking trails. wifi is sketchy and tv service is standard 7 channel. Of course, if you come for the tv or wifi something you are doing is not right. The location is between Rosman and Brevard. White squirrels and waterfalls, Pisgah national forest, 2 excellent fly shops and lots of trophy water. Hiking, tubing, canoe, and mountain biking. Highway 215 in Rosman is famous for bikes riding its switchbacks up onto the blue ridge parkway. Owners are attentive and easy to talk to. Property is well maintained. Dont miss this one... Ron…
