We love it here! We have stayed here twice now. Once in August 2021 and most recently October 2022. Different experiences due to weather and activities available but each great. Summer trip was soon after Covid so not everything was open. We spent most of our time at the water park and at our cabin for meals/the view. Second trip this October everything was back at full service and it was Halloween! We had a blast. Too chilly for water park but so many seasonal activities. Trick-or-treating thru the campsites is something we will never forget and hope to do again! We always stay in the tree top cabins- such a fun experience for our family of 3. We love it up there both for the views and also because of the community that is created in this circle of tiny cabins. We have met some great families and our son has made quick friendships. Golden valley is a trip we hope to take at least once a year!…
This was our second trip to Jellystone. The 1st one was in 2019 and we stayed in the tree-top cabins with the mountain views for a weekend. This year we returned and choose a larger site - the glamping tents near the pool. We stayed for two days midweek. We were not disappointed in our stay. There was so much to do! Clean tents and private bathrooms. All members of the staff were polite and professional. We intend to return - hopefully in the fall.
I got married at Jellystone a week ago. It was beautiful. Great weather, great people. The staff did an amazing job of making it special. We had rehearsal dinner at lakeside pavilion. The ceremony behind Scout’s Table and the reception inside. The staff was so great. Very professional and did their best for stress free. I cannot say enough of how great everyone was! We will be back because we enjoyed camping there before. It’s why we chose this venue. Thanks again for everything!
It is a beautiful site with many amenities. The staff were all helpful and gracious. We stayed in a tiny house adjacent to our kids RV. The Water Park, pool an lake all afforded many opportunities for the GK's. Overall a great experience with family and Grand Kids
Can't think of a single negative thing to say. This park is close to home, so we visit quite often. Great campsites, friendly staff, easy check-in. Nice waterpark, clean pools, and hot tubs. It is quite obvious that the staff are constantly making things better and adding on. Will definitely return soon.
Some of our family stayed here for a long Memorial Day weekend. Six adults three children. Very spacious and pretty set up. Loved the view from the front porch rocking chairs of the pool area. The lodge has very poor lighting in the kitchen, needs additional lighting to see anything you are doing there. The only frying pan was a flea market special that everything you cook in it sticks to the pan. 3 Bedrooms, two of which had only a mattress on the bed frame, no base so the bed is almost on the floor. The master bedroom had a normal mattress setup with a base. The water pressure for showers was not good and with very limited hot water. We left on Monday morning with four or more bags of trash outside. They did a onetime trash pickup while we were there. I had 2 golfcart rentals. One was very temperamental had to take it back for an exchange on Saturday. The replacement had 1/4 charge so it was charged overnight and next morning it was still low. Called and a young guy came out and said he didn't know much about golf carts since he was a maintenance worker and the golfcart guys were off on Sundays. He found a small toggle switch that was in the tow position and changed it and then it was able to take a charge and we eventually got to use it. A lot of hassle. The pool was a disappointment, it was the coldest water that I have ever felt.it was also packed with people shivering from the cold. I chose to use a hot tub but it was full of kids with goggles on swimming in the small hot tubs. There is no lifeguard or person to patrol so everything goes, I guess. They are putting the small cabins all over the properties so when all those are complete not sure how everyone will use the pool or find a chair. Its really a nice place but way over priced for what amenities you actually get there.…
So it was fun until the week end stopped, during the week the store is closed, the food shack is closed, the splash pad is closed, the zip line is closed. There is no extra activities, no food no nothing. For 150$ for a tent per night you would assume they would at least keep a small store and splash pad open. It is over priced if you go during the week. Only go Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The rest of the week is not great. The reason for the three stars if we were there F through T and enjoyed the week end.
We’re regulars at Yogi Bostic and love it there. We’ve spent collectively close to 2 months there since fall 2021 with our RV. (We parked it there for a whole month in Dec and Jan). Our son absolutely loves it too. This trip was a little different though unfortunately due to mixups with our golf cart rental. We checked in on Thursday, and the staff person who checked us in told us we could come by anytime on Friday to pick up the golf cart. So we went back to pick up the golf cart on Friday at about 10:30am, and we were told that they had a big staff meeting and that the policy is we have to pick up the golf cart between 12 and 1. I explained that we were told we could come anytime Friday to get it. She said that we were given incorrect information, and we had to come back at 12 to get it. She also said there’s nobody else working in the golf carts until 12 so nobody was available to help us. I saw 2 other staff by the golf carts and asked the lady at the desk if they work in the golf carts, and she said she didn’t know. Our issue wasn’t resolved. I went outside and talked to 2 other people who also mentioned the big staff meeting that they had to communicate the policy about not picking up until 12. In couldn’t get anywhere. She said we can come back to get it then. I told her we don’t want to come back so can we pay additional hours and take it now? She said no they only can charge for the full day. I said ok the charge me another day and I’ll take the golf cart now. As soon as I said that she perked right up and went and got the keys. So this issue wasn’t that they didn’t have enough help after all. It was they would only let us have it if we paid another day, which was 1 more hour of use. This was very frustrating especially since we only rented the cart for my mom who came and who has bad arthritis. Otherwise we normally walk everywhere anyway. This experience put a bad taste in our mouth overall. We still love it there but they should have resolved our issue—but haven’t. …
One of the best campgrounds we go to . I would like it better if they would finish the concrete pads for campers below the dam . Everything was clean well took care of . I would visit again very soon .
Loved the campground however website hard to follow. We did not know you could not bring your own golf cart (found in fine print) and website is misleading as to what is open when. Nothing but the pool was open to us during our stay even though the website stated differently
