I've been here annually since 2019 and a few things I can share... The cost of staying has increased to barely affordable in the past 2 years while the amenities (that don't cost extra) have not changed very much. I've been to Universal Studios for 4 days for what you could spend here in 5-6 days. We have stayed in a regular cabin, treetop cabin, glamping tent and both tent site options. We have enjoyed them all. The bathrooms are always clean and I really love that they're private and not one big open bathroom and shower room like most places with tent sites. The "red carpet" sites are 50/50. Larger tent pads to accommodate our large tent was a plus and we enjoyed overlooking the lake even though the view is obstructed. A couple of negatives for these sites: the distance from the restrooms, they are further away and not the easiest trip on foot with the uneven paths. The water spigot was also a hike to get to, unless I missed one closer to my site, I would not have been able to hook a hose up as it would have crossed the pathway that golf carts use. I'd love to see some tent sites with a view, as this property has plenty of views to offer but they're all taken up by cabins. I'd also love to see the addition of a dish wash station near the tent sites.
It is true there is plenty to do that is included, but it still is overpriced in my opinion. $120 for a tent site is absurd. I still plan to return because my kids love coming here, but unfortunately we are forced now to come in the non-peak season for affordability.
I've always had a good experience with staff, they've been kind enough to deliver my golf cart a couple of times when I was the solo adult with two younger kiddos. This is a huge help. Other times when it was just my younger son and I they came along and picked us up while we were walking from our site down to the check-in to get our golf cart. Staff around the resort are always friendly.

We are grateful that you continue to choose our Camp-Resort to make family camping memories. We also greatly appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately, there is only so much that we can do when it comes to costs, as these do reflect our amenities and everything else that comes with your stay! We look forward to seeing you again this year and for many years to come.

Had a great time; we stayed in one of the Red Carpet Tent sites, which overlook the lake. Bathrooms were nearby, which is a plus, just wish that the closest bathroom to the Red Carpet Tent sites included a dish sink. Bathrooms were clean, plenty of hot water and great water pressure. WiFi in the camp works great! Since we were here at the beginning of the season, there were erratic hours for things like Scouts Table or the water park, but we understood (although it was Spring Break for some of NC students.) Very clean sites, helpful staff, would stay here again. Just beware, that some golf cart only roads aren't marked, and the vastness of the camp means that you may have trouble finding yourway around (the printed map is better than the online map as you can't pinch and enlarge the online map without it being blurry.) This is one campground where the use of a golf cart to get around is almost mandatory, given the breadth of the place and the many hills.

We've been going to Yogi bear parks for 9 years. We went to the Marion location back before Jellystone Bostic was even open. The Jellystone Bostic location is our favorite. We have been every year since it grand opened with a lot of the amenities under construction. I am very disappointed we will not be going this summer. I attempted to book our usual Luckadoo Lodge and you are not able to book just the 3-night minimum. If there is a gap in their calendar the customer is required to book the additional nights to fill in their booking gaps. It is absurd this burden is placed on the customer. To add the 5 nights required to book this cabin due to a gap in their calendar is $4300 before even adding the kids, golf cart, linens, etc. It is just under $6000 with the additions. We love Yogi but the cost and unexplained rules are insane. I'm fairly certain my children will pick Disney over Yogi every time and the cost is not comparable. I reached out to management with no response prior to this review. It's a shame.

Some of our family stayed here for a long Memorial Day weekend. Six adults three children. Very spacious and pretty set up. Loved the view from the front porch rocking chairs of the pool area. The lodge has very poor lighting in the kitchen, needs additional lighting to see anything you are doing there. The only frying pan was a flea market special that everything you cook in it sticks to the pan. 3 Bedrooms, two of which had only a mattress on the bed frame, no base so the bed is almost on the floor. The master bedroom had a normal mattress setup with a base. The water pressure for showers was not good and with very limited hot water. We left on Monday morning with four or more bags of trash outside. They did a onetime trash pickup while we were there. I had 2 golfcart rentals. One was very temperamental had to take it back for an exchange on Saturday. The replacement had 1/4 charge so it was charged overnight and next morning it was still low. Called and a young guy came out and said he didn't know much about golf carts since he was a maintenance worker and the golfcart guys were off on Sundays. He found a small toggle switch that was in the tow position and changed it and then it was able to take a charge and we eventually got to use it. A lot of hassle. The pool was a disappointment, it was the coldest water that I have ever felt.it was also packed with people shivering from the cold. I chose to use a hot tub but it was full of kids with goggles on swimming in the small hot tubs. There is no lifeguard or person to patrol so everything goes, I guess. They are putting the small cabins all over the properties so when all those are complete not sure how everyone will use the pool or find a chair. Its really a nice place but way over priced for what amenities you actually get there.

OVERPRICED!! We love this campground. There is so much to do and we’ve had some really great camping trips here. But, as of the last few months, they have increased their pricing and made the “special offers” basically unusable due to restrictions and black out dates. Even the new 50% off a second stay when you book one during peak season is basically unusable due to the huge list of non peak season blackout dates. They have made this place completely unaffordable and way overpriced! It’s fun, but unfortunately not worth the price at this point.

My extended family has been here before, but this was my first time. We rented several cabins situated next to each other. We had the best time of our lives. The youngest children enjoyed the playground and the jumping pads. Everyone enjoyed the pools. There was a pool with splash pads, spraying water fountains and tall slides that all ages used. There was a regular pool where people were swimming and shooting balls into hoops. There was a Lake Where people of all ages were attempting to cross the obstacle course floating out in the middle. There were boats, kayaks, and more that you could rent for reasonable prices. the food at the pool was much better this year than last year. The fried chicken wrap was amazing. The pizzas were excellent. The luau music was wonderful. I was amazed how the bathrooms that came with each cabin were so clean. The cabins are small, but you really are only in there to sleep. Even during the storms, we stayed under the cabin in the kitchen area and enjoyed watching the rain and hanging out together. You do have to bring your own chairs to sit outside. Our only complaint was the stoves do not heat water to a boil. So we really couldn’t boil pasta.

The facilities themselves are so nice! Grounds are clean, bathrooms are clean, great place for kids. Where there were issues was when they changed their restaurant from a full menu to a breakfast buffet with no notice. We decided not to take food to cook because they offered a full menu which was not the case. They also charged $0.70 for a glow stick from the glow stick party. It was penny pinching and they could have informed guests that they were changing their food options. Also, when they say the “grill” closes an hour before the pool side restaurant, that also means all cold sandwiches too as you can only order ice cream.

We came down from Maryland for Easter break. This was our second trip to the campground. We love being in the mountains and the size of the campground. Our only two complaints: 1) we have no cell phone service at our particular site with very poor wifi. We realize you get away from devices when you travel but we needed to work remotely and the premium site we selected did not accommodate this. Note...the sites behind the damn of the pond have excellent cell service & wifi which is where we camped during our first trip but we wanted the concrete pad since it was our new puppy's first trip. Luckily we found empty parts of the campground which we were able to work from. 2) Wish there were more activates or amenities open during our stay. The weather was warm enough for the pool to be open. As always - the staff was excellent.

Thank you for leaving us a review! We totally understand the frustration with having to work with limited wifi service. Unfortunately given our location in the mountains it is very hard to get service to all parts of the campground but we would be happy to help you when booking your site to find a location that fits your needs. As for the water park, we have to have a set opening and closing date as it takes a company to come in and help get everything set so we cannot simply pick our date when the weather is nice. Hopefully you'll get a chance to enjoy the water attractions with a stay in the future!

Great camping accommodations for RV goers. Wouldn’t go back to restaurant onsite as it was very slow and only average food but kids had a great time with all park amenities. Poolside bar was great and poolside snack bar convenient but busy.

Don't get me wrong... We had an amazing time at this park, but a few tips. Their social media budget must be very large and is on point, but know that it is not the full picture. The treetop cabins look great on insta and are super on point. I couldn't figure out why the glamping tent was more and now I know why... It is because they are much, much bigger. If four people people are sleeping in the treetop cabin every inch of floor space will be covered with beds. I have no idea where a family by of four is supposed to put their stuff. We traveled with a baby and a toddler. Fortunately we brought backpacking backpacks and could leave them outside. If you get one of these, and have 3 or 4 people, I would suggest bringing rubbermaid bins for your clothes and your food so they can remain outside at the covered picnic area. Do know that you can keep some of your clothes and other items in your private locked disconnected bathroom at the bottom of the hill. However, there isn't a ton of room there either. We did have a blast! Rent the golf cart. This place is DESIGNED for golfcarts. I have camped all over the country at state parks and national parks. This isn't like that. It is very much designed for families and not a ton of hiking. Trails are not kept up well. The included activities were great! We loved the golf cart parade and costume contest. You pay a lot upfront per night because so much is included. Take advantage of that! Definetely download the app and check out what is happening the week before. All the staff was great. We didn't stay in an RV site, but know that there is zero shade at those locations. I can't imagine doing that in the summer. We will be back!

Thanks for the review and feedback, Abigail. Yes, our Treetop Cabins are quite cozy. We have tons of photos and descriptions on our website that show off the space. They're best for a small family or couple looking to getaway for the weekend. :) If you do decide to visit in the future, we have tons of other cabin types to choose from! We're glad that you were able to enjoy all of the activities though. See you next time!

We were towards the back end with the smaller mini house looking cabin and our Verizon service didn’t work and the random WiFi spots were not reliable.
My experience was t great there so I’m curious to understand how no one else seemed to mind
There are more places to choose from in the Bostic area.
