This place was just ok. The beers were again just ok, served on the warm side of what I like. We had nine in our party. The service was above average. We were seated quickly and the waitress was pleasant and attentive without hovering. The food was again just average. I had a bison burger, other adults had regular beef... More

We'd been in Blowing Rock all weekend and had walked by here several times. After visiting Grandfather Mountain, I wanted a bite to eat before heading home. Blowing Rock Ale House fit the bill perfectly. Food was excellent and the brew I tried was awesome. My wife had the BLT, which was great as well. I had the pulled pork... More

It was our waiter's first night at the restaurant and he was awesome! The fried chicken sandwich I had was very good, and the fries were too. We sat in a little separate outdoor area outside which was really cool- it was just our one table. The location is ideal- just off of Main Street.

The stay in the Inn, Stout Room, was excellent as was the beer, food and hospitality from the Manager to the wait staff to the kitchen staff!! They made us feel welcome. We will be sure a... More

The Ale House was a rave after our first visit but after this last trip it was a bit disappointing. They have a great selection of beers with unique flavors. I'm not a beer drinker but really enjoyed my brew made with tea. We each had sandwiches and fries which were ok except for the portobello. It was so tough... More

This is a nice cozy bed and breakfast located in the center of Blowing Rock. It's within walking distance of everything within the city and there's a park right across the street.. Many of the shops and mom & pop places are all right there. Quick driving distance to grandfather mountain. It's clean, friendly, and i will be back.

We made this our stop on the way to Asheville from PA. Cute little town, expensive yuppy shops, excellent choice of restaurants. The Inn has several rooms upstairs- we had the Stout room and our friends stayed in the Hops. Our room was clean, very comfortable, and large. Everyone here was very friendly- the guys had a brewery tour while... More

I've stayed here several times. This is a brewery/restaurant/inn. It's a busy place downstairs and gets a little chaotic. I think all the rooms are located upstairs, atop the restaurant. I know there are around five to choose from. The rooms are inviting. Each has a private bath. The water is touch and go in the showers, meaning for every... More

Took a bit to be seated and a bit for the food to come out, but it was SO worth it. The waiter was extremely knowledgable, curteous and helpful. They were nice and let me order a fried item on the menu grilled instead, and it was fantastic!! We had the duck burger and the bison burger. They were the... More
