We stayed three nights and hugged Jackie (the manager) on the way out. Without a doubt the friendliest place we have ever stayed. The breakfast, which is included, was great as were the rooms. The staff is simply fantastic. If you go to Blowing Rock and want to stay in town, stay here!

This was just the best weekend ever. Unit was very clean, and everything looked new. Staff was very helpful and provided extra coffee, and lots of ice. The old style soaker tub was so relaxing and fun to use. The shower was interesting with a sloping ceiling (might be tough for a tall person) but generally nice bathroom. The king bed... More

This is absolutely one of our favorite places to stay in beautiful, peaceful Blowing Rock! The town truly still has the atmosphere of small town America complete with town square & band shelter with many various bands, & choral & down home dance groups right in the middle of an old fashioned playground to many a child's delight. We have... More

Our room was #5 which was the entire 3rd floor, of this beautifully appointed house. Everything was clean and well kept and we slept like babies, on the great high bed. It was also very quiet and didn't hear any other guests. We ate breakfast and dinner there and both were sensational, to say the least. The presentation and quality... More

Lovely place to stay in Blowing Rock! Easy to walk to everything. We enjoyed a drink at the little bar downstairs before going out. Rooms are very pretty and the big bed and big shower were divine!! It can get a little noisy, but they have wonderful noise machines beside the bed - we set it to rain and slept... More

Lives up to it's recommendation in Southern Living. Rooms are spacious, modern yet cozy decor, super comfy beds, plush towels, EXCELLENT on site restaurant, attentive staff. Located within short walk of the main shopping and dining, the park, and the Glen Burney Trail entrance. Chris, who I think is the front-end manager, is a major asset - friendly, knowledgeable, professional,... More

As first time patrons my wife and I were delighted with the quaint ambiance and professional wait staff. The menu focuses around locally raised/produced ingredients with an eclectic flair. Morning one - The Farmer's Omelet, in-house made maple chicken sausage and potatoes were very good. Morning two - the Liver Mush Eggs Benedict was fantastic and drizzled with yellow mustard... More

I understand people liking the location and the room decor and furniture. My friends and I stayed in room 5 with the separate bedroom and sitting room. You will be shocked because there is a toilet and claw foot tub in one bathroom, but if you want to wash your hands, you go to the other bathroom that has the... More

I just had breakfast because it was recommended by my Inn-owner and it certainly was a good choice. I took a mix of pancakes, waffles and stewed apples with coffee and orange juice. The apples were fantastic. When finished there was no rush. You know, I often observe that the bill is brought to the table once you leave the... More

This appears to be an old house that has been renovated into a hotel with a bar, lounge and restaurant. The decor is up to date and pleasant. The mixed drinks were a generous pour and well made. We ordered the coconut shrimp and the portion was large and presentation nice. It's smaller fried shrimp with a delicious apricot chile... More
