If you are stressed the moment you drive in the beautiful grounds will melt it all away. You feel like family once you check into this family run inn. The rooms are very clean and updated. Numerous sitting areas outside and some cover areas to enjoy the incredible gardens. Downtown Blocking Rock is just around the corner with numerous shopping... More

I have never stayed at a motel prior to our visit to Blowing Rock. We had a great experience and will stay here again when we return to the area. The rooms were very clean and the property is immaculate and peaceful. Inn keeper is friendly and informative. Located close to downtown. The rooms need a bit of updating but... More

The loveliest of accommodations in the loveliest of Blue Ridge mountain towns. Quaint, comfortable, convenient and oh so hospitable. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Family owned, and they appear to take great pride in it. Although I haven't stayed in it, the cabin on the grounds is also available.

Just returned from a short stay at Azalea Garden. WOW to us it is better than any fancy hotel. The entire inn is peaceful, gorgeous flowers, friendly staff and guest. Thanks for giving us a place to rest our souls .

My husband and I stayed at the Azalea Garden Inn for our Memorial Day trip. The landscaping is immaculately breathtaking. Our King room was spotless and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. Our reasonably priced room came with a flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a Keurig coffee maker, nice bath towels, etc. The owners were on site and extremely... More

I took my mom to Blowing Rock for a 4-day Mother's Day weekend, and on the recommendation of friends made reservations at the Azalea Garden Inn. We could not have been happier. The Inn, on Main Street but a block away from the noise and traffic, is meticulously tended with gorgeous landscaping and wonderful seating on a quiet deck and... More

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this beautiful family owned inn in the heart of Blowing Rock. Walking distance to downtown shops. Very clean room and several sitting areas outside to sit and relax. The gardens were spectacular! Would definitely stay again and suggest reserving your room early if going to the mountains in the fall. The location... More

This is an older motel...nicely renovated with extremely clean environment. You are transferred back into time... A time when people stopped to greet strangers and old friends and sat together on the covered patio. Beauty is all around... Quiet yet within walking distance of Blowing Rock.

This is a quaint motel ( more 60's motor lodge style) that is well maintained and in the heart of Blowing Rock, within walking distance to downtown and restaurants. The grounds are the most beautiful I have ever seen and the rooms are as clean as any place we have ever stayed in. We stayed in one of the upstairs... More
