We just had a very enjoyable two night stay and the next time we want a get away this is where we'll go. The Red Rocker Inn is very clean, the owners are always available and personable and cater to your wants and needs. The chef is their daughter and she always cooks up delightful recipes for breakfast and dinner. Several different styles of rooms. We were in the Azalea room which featured a queen bed and small adjacent sitting room. All rooms have a private bath, ours featured a tub and shower. Beautiful old building inside and out and very well maintained by their handyman who arrives on Thursdays to keep the building in great shape. You have to try their home made apple butter and cookies which are put out every day.

Property's Favorite Review
We always look forward to any chance to get away to Black Mountain, Asheville, & the Red Rocker Inn. We have been there so many times that it just feels like home but without the cooking & making our bed. During this Covid-19 pandemic, we felt this would be the safest place to travel to & not be worried. Doug & Jenny with their wonderful staff took good care of us with all their safe procedures in place at the Inn. The food was as exceptional as it always is with their resident chef who always exceeds all our expectations. The weather was wonderful, we were well taken care of & met some really nice people to chat with while rocking in the rockers on the front porch.

That about sums it up! Thanks so much for posting your review, we hope everyone leaves feeling as happily pampered as you did. Like everyone, we have had to make adjustments during this Covid-19 time but that has taught us to serve our guests even better. We keep trying to please in all respects, and as you said - to exceed expectations. Thanks so much for a faithful guest!

So cool. Walk to “town” (Town open 12-3 pr some until 8-9. ) Doug and Jenny lead the way, breakfast is highlight. Think Grandparents homemade stuff, and during COVID anyway, they make to order eggs and serve your plate. Trust me on breakfast. Sit next to the hummingbird feeder, it’s Utopia Rebecca and Jake help you wherever you need. Everyone is beyond sweet and the large home with bath in room has a wonderful Christian ideal aspect that makes you feel comfortable. Doug gave me great Hiking trail advice

We love to make our guests happy, and we're thrilled you enjoyed your stay here so well. You are correct, things must change a bit during COVID 19 and we've adapted our service to safer conditions. BUT any time you are here, we're happy to cook eggs to order if you'd prefer that over the egg casseroles we serve. Thank you so much for reviewing!

We stayed in the Azalea Room as it is our favorite. It has a small sitting room with a love seat in an attached room. It is clean and bed is comfortable. Our favorite part is sitting in the red rocking chairs on the front porch to read or visit with other guests. We have stayed for 5 years and are never disappointed. The innkeepers are amazing and the breakfast is to die for.

Thanks for such nice comments! Just so future travelers know, The Azalea room is on the second floor, but if you'd rather not use the stairs The Molly Bear room on the first floor offers a similar accommodation. Other rooms have seating area too. Keep on coming back for another 5 years!
