Nice relaxing weekend. Great location convenient to downtown and restaurants. Enjoyed the Saturday farmers market. Hosts were very accommodating and hospitable. We enjoyed both Beaufort and the surrounding Atlantic Beach area. Highly recommended!
What a wonderful weekend with Kim and Jon at the Inn. It exceeds expectations in terms of hospitality. The breakfasts are not your standard fare but rather wonderfully curated and presented. Saturday evening dinner was likewise better than you will find in town. The rooms are comfortable, and the linens great. The two cozy seating areas are great for reading before breakfast or in the evening. The hosts genuinely love what they do and take every measure to meet and exceed their guests’ needs and expectations.
We had a wonderful time at the Inn on Turner! Kim and Jonathan are exceptional hosts! We enjoyed a delicious, healthy breakfast each morning and enjoyed meeting other guests. Kim gave us many ideas and pointers for things to do, which we took advantage of and found very helpful! The Inn is in walking distance to quaint shops and great restaurants. We loved exploring nearby islands by ferry. Beaufort has so much to offer! We would love to return and would easily choose The Inn on Turner again!
We had a wonderful weekend in Beaufort staying at the Inn on Turner. Kim and Jon are gracious hosts who truly love what they are doing. They answered any questions, gave us tons of suggestions as to where to dine and things to do. Breakfast was amazing. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in Beaufort!
Just spent weekend at the Inn On Turner. Hosts Kim and Jonathan were perfect hosts! Shared lots info about the area, provided great dining recommendations, and prepared delicious and beautifully presented breakfasts. The Inn is charming…bed was super comfortable! Whole experience at the Inn On Turner was one of the highlights of our trip to Beaufort!
Kim and Jonathan were both excellent hosts at the charming historic Inn on Turner in Beaufort, NC. The meals are way beyond what one would expect at a bed and breakfast, reminiscent of a Michelin starred restaurant. Kim advised us about local activities, which helped us find the most fun and exciting things to do. Hopefully there will be a future return visit.
We had a wonderful stay at the Inn on Turner in Beaufort which is within walking distance to the water and historical city. Beautifully decorated and absolutely charming, breakfast was delicious farm to table. Everything from the owners to the accommodations, breakfast and location were perfect. Kim was extremely helpful in recommending restaurants and daily excursions. The perfect getaway. We highly recommend the IOT when visiting Beaufort, the website says it all!
The owners help you plan where to go and what to do, if we asked any small thing (ice) it was done right away and with a smile! They are so outgoing and very talented chefs! We had lovely wine and even champagne for our anniversary. Breakfast is all fresh and organic, I could go on forever…
We stayed at The Inn on Turner from June 26-29th, 2022. It was a first class lodging experience with all the little details taken care of. The room and Inn are spotless with nicely decorated and appointed rooms. We stayed in one of the King suites which was very relaxing and comfortable. Jon and Kim whip up absolutely delicious, locally sourced breakfasts to really kick start your day. Kim was extremely helpful with helping us plan our daily excursions to local museums, ferries, restaurants, etc. She knows the area well and has connections at many local restaurants for reservations. We highly recommend the Inn on Turner if visiting Beaufort it is all the website says it is! We will be returning, hopefully with friends! Ray and Julie Hayden from Virginia Beach
My husband and I (in our 60s) decided to visit a place we had never been and chose Beaufort, NC and Inn on Turner due to the great reviews. Kim sent a list of ideas for things to do in the area which was very helpful and was prompt at answering my many emails containing lots of questions. Kim is available in person at breakfast and happy hour, although we were able to text her at any point during the day. Our room was well-appointed with a comfortable bed, fresh water and glasses in the room and a sound machine. The whole house was beautifully decorated - it is an historic house with modern, beautiful, beach/sea decor. We were there 5 nights and breakfast was very good every morning. Even the sweet breakfasts came with a side of some kind of protein, which was good for me. The happy hour was a choice of white or red wine. Hopefully at some point they will bring back the nice cheese and fruit/charcuterie plate it looks like they used to serve as well. We didn't stay at the B&B much, since we were busy exploring, but it would be easy to linger and read or visit in the common spaces, lower and upper deck with nice seating or the garden seating area. Downtown Beaufort and the waterfront docks are an easy stroll of a few minutes. We really enjoyed the Hungry Town Tour, kayaking, going to Cape Lookout, and lots of delicious restaurants close by. (Don't be put off by the name "Beaufort Grocery" for a restaurant. It used to be a grocery, but is now a great restaurant!) Thank you Kim and Jon for a very nice vacation!…
