Upon arriving at The Cedars Inn, we found it to have beautiful curb appeal (see pictures) and convenient parking, along with a terrific proximity to downtown. Once inside and in our on-the-front-side 2nd floor room, however, we found that beyond the room’s attractive beautiful walls, things were not so good. Here’s why: 1) our bed was a double bed, which... More

Great service and very clean. We loved sitting on the front porch enjoying the river breezes. They were very accommodating with our breakfast on the day of our departure. I just wish that we had had time to have dinner at the B&B...that is one thing that we missed! We stayed in the Captains Quarters on the 3rd floor &... More

Stayed in the cottage and had a marvelous visit. The porch of the cottage had rocking chairs which could be faced out to see the water. Roses and lovely plantings lined the walkway to the cottage. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable with marvelous touches of home. The sitting room has a fireplace and is cozy for watching tv or... More

We were really looking forward to visiting Beaufort NC and staying in this Inn which we had seen featured in Southern Living. The Inn itself is very attractive, easy to find with good parking and the staff were friendly. Our room was spacious and well furnished, bright and light, but the bedding felt worn and in need of a refresh.... More

My husband and I enjoy staying in B&Bs especially in our home state of North Carolina. We hadn't been to Beaufort before and decided to make the trip and stay at the Cedars Inn based on a review we read in Southern Living magazine. The inn was built in the 1700s and has a lot of charm. There is a... More

Great visit and wonderful food at The Cedars Inn! Rooms were beautiful and so inviting. The grouper with the kale pesto was divine as was the tuna tar tar! Thanks Chef and thank you Jenn and Adrian you were fantastic host! We will plan to do this by boat again next year!

We stayed for a long weekend and we really loved it. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are great and the location is perfect. Sitting on the balcony is perfect on the rocking chairs. We will certainly be returning.

My fiance and I recently stayed at the Cedars Inn & Restaurant in Beaufort, NC. Our suite was located on the third floor. Unlike an earlier review, we found the room temperature easy to control and ceiling heights perfectly ok for us. We loved the charm, spaciousness, and waterfront views from the Captains Quarters. Jenn and Carole were gracious hosts.... More

We had a romantic 4th of July dinner here. It's one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always amazing especially the shrimp and scallops. They have a great wine list and excellent, friendly service. Have not stayed at the Inn.

We recently had an awesome two-night getaway at cedars inn in Beaufort, NC. The location is the absolute best for people who enjoy ocean views, close shopping and museums, quaint shops, and plenty of majestic views and walking space! Cedars is literally two doors down from the NC Maritime Museum and all the restaurants and shops of Beaufort, where opportunities... More
