We had a great visit in Bath, staying at the marina. Our room was very clean with a well equipped kitchen and we used the outdoor grill as well. We enjoyed using the kayaks and our dog is very welcome and happy there. It’s a great escape and the people are super! This was our 3rd visit and we hope to return soon.

The family is so friendly and welcoming! The view is amazing! Yes, the motel is small and simple but it’s so cozy and I absolutely love it! You can kayak, paddle board, swim, wakeboard, etc. This is my favorite place/motel ever! I extremely recommend. It’s very family and pet friendly. The view is so beautiful too. To all the the people wrtiting a bad review, just suck it up and deal with it. It’s not the end of the world if there is a tiny spot on the bathroom floor or whatever. We are so blessed to be able to go to this place and enjoy every thing it has there! If you have never been to Bath or Bath Harbor Marina and Motel, you are seriously missing out!!!!!

This would be a lovely place but our one night stay there was a disaster. First, the tv was so snowy that it was impossible to tell what was on. We attempted to use our wifi connection to watch tv on our computer, but the internet signal kept dropping off causing our computer to freeze up. The bath water came out of the spigot brown making it unwelcome to bathe in. During the night at approximately 1am, we were awakened by some people talking loudly and slamming doors. The cream of the crop was that at about 4am, we were awakened by chewing sounds above our heads! It made us stay awake until daybreak, from fear of having a mouse or rat drop in our bed. At 6am, just as sun was coming up, noisy people again began their day by running in and out and slamming doors, etc. At that point we just left. I sincerely hope that they can work things out there, but a lot of work needs to be done.It has a lovely water view. It was definitely not worth the $100 we paid for it. I wish them luck. Unfortunately, we will not return.

I am so sorry that the pool was closed and you had issues with your wife in the hot tub . I would have certainly refunded your money , all you needed to do was ask! I am sorry other people use the facility and caused you problems .

I often recommend Bath Marina and Motel to my clients, friends, and family. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable. Paul goes beyond the expected to accommodate. I'll continue to recommend Bath Marina without reservation. Capt Joe Sizemore LLC

I am perplexed that people don't mention the fact that this place is typically dirty and poorly run by a volatile guy that doesn't seem to want to put in the work to make things nice. There's no real professionalism or excellence here. Period.

Response from bathsail, Owner at Bath Harbor Marina and Motel
Responded Jul 9, 2017
Unfortunately , we could not accommodate your needs , elderly handicapped people do better at motels the have elevators and room service , if you had asked first before personally attacking me later I would have informed you on the waterfront room set up. . We are set up for people that love physically challenging water activities , wakeboarding , kayaking ,paddle boarding and nature , unfortunately due to your phycal limitations you are unable to enjoy what we provide. I believe that you should stick to places that have valet service in the cement jungle .

We took a friend here for her birthday weekend and had the two efficiencies on the top floor, which gave us our own private deck. The rooms are clean and simple, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the hosts could not have been nicer. They immediately brought us extra blankets and an HDMI cable for the DVD we brought with us (without the cable). It was very quiet at night, and the mornings with otters playing on the dock were great. We recommend it and would stay there again!

We had an efficiency that was delightful. The small kitchen/living/dining room is literally right in the water and well equipped for a fine stay. Its right in the midst of Historic Bath--get out and take a walk to see the town or borrow one of Paul's boats to get out on the water. We picked up some local scallops and made a delicious dinner in the small kitchen. Great value and great host.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It is not actually a B&B; each room has a kitchenette. Ours had a small refrigerator, microwave, and cooktop, also a toaster and coffeemaker. Our room opened out into a screened in porch where we had wonderful views of the river. The rooms look out toward the south, so that the sunrise and sunset were both beautiful and you never had sun in your eyes. The rooms are certainly not deluxe but very clean and comfortable, and the people are very friendly.

My husband and I visited for a wedding that was held on Bonners point. I looked for lodging close to the location and found this place. Bath Harbor Motel and Marina really is a gem! There are four rooms - two upstairs and two downstairs & there is an attached marina to the property. Paul, the owner, was very accommodating on the phone and he met us in the parking lot when we arrived. His residence is located beside of the motel. He is extremely personable and gave us the information we needed for our stay including his number to reach him if we needed anything. We stayed in room 2 which is an upstairs room. It is a single room efficiency with a stove top, microwave, Keurig coffee pot with coffee pods, small frig, and the room has a small dining table with 2 chairs, a double bed, a futon, and we found a roll out bed in the closet. The motel is older but has been renovated very nicely. The room was very clean and our bed was firm and comfortable. The room was stocked with plenty of towels that are clean & smell nice and there are toiletries available as well. The toiletries are higher class and then what you might expect and are a nice touch. The bathroom even has a built-in ceiling heater which was really nice for bathing. We had a really good night's sleep. The upper two rooms share an open deck is that is furnished with two full size patio tables and chairs. The views are absolutely incredible. The two downstairs rooms have larger accommodations as well as the screened in porches. The furniture in our room in older and doesn't match. However, that just adds character for us. All of the pieces are in good working order and are sturdy. Therefore, it does not matter to us. We are having a very wonderful time in this beautiful, charming town of Bath and are staying in a very charming establishment, lovingly run by a very friendly owner. We will definitely come back and we highly recommend Bath Harbor Hotel and Marina!
