Delightful hosts who make sure you want for nothing! I loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere and decor. My space (the Ocracoke room) was perfect for me… light and airy, with that coastal vibe in the bedroom and bath, AND a comfortable sitting room (complete with writing desk!) where I could lay out my books, notebooks and paperwork during my 4-night stay. I was given a key to my room AND to the front door (which is usually kept locked, I assume to make guests feel safe and secure, and also to keep the curious from just walking in).
Breakfasts each morning in the sunroom were amazing! First course was always a lovely serving of fresh fruit in sweet heavy cream, served in elegant margarita glasses! Also brought to the table was Maree’s own homemade whole wheat Irish soda bread (and a generous amount of butter provided for it), two kinds of fruit jams, and the dessert bread or muffin of the day! Whatever egg dish was brought out then was always hot, tasty and generous! Unlimited coffee, tea and orange juice were always on the table (refilled if needed). No one would have any excuse for leaving the table hungry or unsatisfied!
All in all, it was a very pleasant stay, and I’ll definitely be returning. I would 100% recommend it to friends and family!

This trip was my wife’s first to bath but I have spent many nights there always staying with family so we were uncertain of what we were going to encounter. It is truly difficult to put into words how happy we were with our experience. The hospitality, the space, the cleanliness all were up and beyond our expectations! So nice and peaceful it made it difficult to leave. Anyone that enjoys traveling knows cleanliness is a must and they did a fantastic job. The breakfast was amazing, we would have spent $50.00 alone finding a breakfast like we enjoyed there. I could go on and on about Maree and her husband and how amazing it was but you truly need to experience it for yourself. Bath is a hidden gem in North Carolina and staying here is a must if you visit. We will be back this summer!

My wife and I visited Bath in April and really enjoyed staying at the Inn. The hosts immediately made us feel at home and treated us like royalty. The Inn itself is a remarkable building - beautifully designed and built with exceptional quality throughout. The "great room" is like something out of a Hallmark movie. Bath is a very charming little town, very quiet and offers a lot of options for walks, biking, boating, or as a base for exploration. We enjoyed touring the area by motorcycle and per the host's recommendation, took the bikes across the Pamlico river via the free ferry. We had great weather during our visit. Had the weather been poor, we would have been quite fine hanging out at the Inn. It is extremely comfortable and relaxing. We loved the gourmet breakfasts - wow! The hosts are meticulous and caring and we really enjoyed visiting with them. If you're looking for a unique experience, and great value for a stay in an historic town, the Inn is the place to go!

The house, although newer built, looks like a period house. Decor and colors invoke peace. Rooms are individually temperature controlled with en suite bathrooms. Love all the book nooks! I had a breakfast tray to my room every morning and everyday was a home-cooked meal with chef appeal. You can sit on the proch, read books in the great toom, watch TV or enjoy the calming ocean breezes and learn more about Colonial American history.

Went for a Valentine's weekend and Marie was just a perfect host. The house itself is beautiful. Even though it was fully occupied for the weekend, we never saw or heard another guest. It rained the whole weekend and this was a perfect place to curl up and enjoy. Marie directed us to all the things in the area that were of interest to us.

We stayed for two nights in the Ocracoke Room which has a queen bed, private large bath and a sitting room. Each room has individual climate control and good WiFi in all rooms and porch. The inn was immaculate and so comfortable with a TV room, sitting area and a wondeful front porch with rockers to look at the water across the street. Innkeepers, Dale & Maree, were so welcoming and made you feel at home. The breakfast each morning was the highlight of our day! Maree makes Irish Soda Bread each morning. One morning was strawberries and cream, an egg dish, banana chocolate chip bread, homemade jams and jellies. The second day was fresh blueberries and yogurt, Swedish pancakes, sausage, coffee cake and more jams and jellies. Can you tell we loved the breakfast!! Coffee, tea, water and sodas were always available. Historic Bath is just around the corner and we walked each evening to Bonner Point to sit and look out at the beautful water and sunsets. We highly recommend The Inn on Bath Creek!

We had a wonderful stay! Maree was an excellent host. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. This was our first bed and breakfast and I would totally return. The house was beautiful and clean. We had access to other parts of the house and the front porch. The rocking chairs on the porch were very comfortable and provided views of bath creek.

We stayed at this lovely inn while visiting the beautiful town of Bath. The location was perfect and you could leave your car and walk everywhere. Marie and Dale were welcoming and full of good advise about where to eat and what to do. The inn was immaculate with lovely rooms and I cannot say enough about the bountiful and delicious homemade breakfast we were served. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to this historic lovely town!

I recently visited and stayed here for a night to explore Bath, the hometown of Blackbeard.

The inn is exquisite s on the outside as well as within. One would think a highly trained staff was at hand in the upkeep, but alas that isn't the case. Maree and her husband are the ones behind it all.

Rooms are immaculate and very cozy. Feels more akin to being somewhere in Ireland or England vs. stateside.

Was impressed with a gorgeous breakfast that was a mirror reflection of the Inn itself: charming, delicious and meticulously detailed.

Surrounding this inn are a few great restaurants tha serves simple but delicious seafood or burgers.

Highly recommended.

Our overnight stay at The Inn on Bath Creek was so much more than we expected! The home, situated on a quiet, tree-lined street, is beautifully appointed and welcoming. The host is amazing and friendly. We stayed in the Chesapeake Room and it was roomy and comfortable...it had everything we needed and some sweet surprises. Beverages were available as was a delightful front and back porch for relaxing. But OH THE BREAKFAST!!!! Simply fantastic! Thank you< Marie, for a wonderful stay. We certainly hope to return!

Do you have any rooms with 2 queen beds or two double beds?
Answer from mainesmith

No. There is either one queen or one king in each room, but none of the rooms have two beds. You might call them and ask if they have cots for children.
