Do not book this hotel! There has been a fire (which they did not advise us until we arrived) and also there is no mention of it on their website. Due to the fire the restaurant and office is closed. There is also no staff on site. We arrived on Saturday, April 8 at 7pm, which was only 1 hour...

This was a Living Social deal. I would not have paid full price for the experience. The best thing about the place is the view. The smell in the room was unpleasant upon entering - bad/super strong chemical smell. Outdated furniture; couch had holes in it. The bed did not have a mattress pad, just a sheet directly on the...

Great location, lees than 5 minutes away from Beech Mountain and view is beautiful. Got a room for 4 people and it was a really good size. Heater works great. Great value for money, highly recommend for a weekend trip to the mountain.

My husband and I have stayed here in the past and were happy with the inn, especially with the restaurant. But this time, everything was so different. The inn looked rundown, needed a lot of repairs, wasn't clean, and the restaurant had changed from a gourmet one to family-style. New owners are not keeping it up.

This is a nice place to stay but it really needs to be updated. The heating is either by real fireplace or you have to wait for the base boards to heat up which takes a while. Needs new carpet. Bathroom needs to be upgraded. Walking down the steps to the room there is no light. The mini fridge needed...

Although our room could have used a few upgrades in the bathroom the room was well worth the rate. The eclectic furniture was charming and although the bed was very firm we'd go back in a heartbeat. The overall cabin feel was special. The views were spectacular.

Husband purchased 3 nights through LivingSocial. Huge mistake. Filthy is not strong enough. If we could give this place no points we would. If we had not paid for this in advance we would not have stayed one night. I would name what was dirty but everything was filthy. Thank goodness we brought our own pillows and blanket. Also, they...

My wife and I stayed in the Blue Ridge room for 2 nights. The inn is old and not perfect but it was very adequate. We had a big, clean room with a beautiful view at a reasonable price. The staff was nice and helpful. We'd stay there again.

Nice rustic atmosphere. Don't recommend booking during off-season. We stayed for 4 days. Wi-Fi was not available in our room. They said it was too far from the office. Advertised complimentary breakfast was not available. I don't think the restaurant was open at all during our stay. The room was not cleaned during our stay. We had to go to...
