Reviewed yesterday NEW

we came up to lees mcrae college for our Granddaughters softball weekend. weather was great but it was supposed to rain so we just stayed one night. Kind of pricey for the time of year. No internet special. Room was more than we expected. Non smoking room and not a trace of smoke.

Our room was a king with a pullout couch. The room was very clean and roomy. The television worked! Soap, shampoo and conditioner were dispensed via a container in the shower instead of little bottles that they would have to discard. Even though there were just two of us, they left us 4 fluffy towels. Breakfast consisted of a hot...

Little pricy, $150; in my opinion for a double bed room. Dated, but clean. Not much of a choice in the immediate Banner Elk area. Was not aware of breakfast, were not told at check in. Saw it when leaving, but had time restraints. Lots of tile outside for walk ways kinda scary when wet with ice, rain, and snow.

Beautiful little town and the hotel fits in perfectly. The heated outdoor pool was closed due to unseasonably cold weather put we could see the steam coming off it. Really nice rooms and a great price. Great breakfast included.

What can you say bad about a place in the mountains of North Carolina? The only thing we have to say is the entire stay was wonderful, the views were fantastic and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was indeed a pleasant surprise. The breakfast provided is what one would expect at a higher priced hotel. Mary, the breakfast staff made...

After spending a few days in Asheville we headed north to Banner Elk to take in the mountain views and do some skiing. The Best Western is the only chain hotel around and didn't disappoint. The girl at the front desk was very helpful upon check in and even recommended some local breweries to check out. The room was fine..no...

tiny bathroom, no hand soap, outdoor noise (like people's rolling suitcases). Limited fruit with breakfast Room was either too cold or too warm as the HVAC went off/on. No extra blanket in room All electrical outlets were behind furniture except one by door, but then no table/counter to set an object on.

The bathroom has no fan and is very small There are no hand lotions or other small amenities Finding an outlet to plug things in was a search...oh, yes, one by the door, but table to rest the item on. We pulled a straight back chair over to the door. The curtains don't meet in the middle, so outsiders can...

Thank you for a great pet-friendly experience. Your feather bed was AMAZING. The breakfast not so good. The staff was very helpful and the room was beautiful. The heater system was very loud. Thank you.

Spent several days here last week with a group of 20+ friends. The staff was great! Friendly, helpful, accommodating... no complaints! Thank You! Only wish was that the bar, and heated pool had been open!
