This place is terible it is dirty and the paint is pelling off the walls. The Emerson lodge is THE BEST, it is soo nice and much cheaper then it is here. At the emerson lodge it is soo clean ond the owner is sooo nice i want to live here. SO DONT STAY HERE STAY AT EMERSON LODGE.

We were sorely disappointed in our accommodations from our initial impression on arrival, to our exit. The Web site shows a freshly painted exterior with manicured grounds and comfortable, if somewhat over-decorated interior decor. Instead what we found was a shabby, run-down exterior: rotten eaves, dead tree branches littering the rooftops, unmown grass, rusty yard decor, miscellaneous vehicles littering the... More

B&B experiences run the gamut. Some hosts are right on top of you every moment of your stay. Others understand that you're there to relax and enjoy some alone time, and not make a new best friend of the owner. Carolyn and her husband Greg were the perfect hosts during my midweek stay with my teenage daughter during a school... More

Driving up to the Cameo Inn is a bit confusing, as the sign is actually past the driveway. But, once you get to it, you'll see a rambling old house that is full of surprises (that go beyond the extensive tchotchke collection) . Caroliine, our host, was lovely, and we really enjoyed relaxing in the great room. Our own room... More

Just finished another great stay at the Cameo. Greg and Carolyn where as usual, the consumate hosts. The manor is a huge, amazing Victorian home with beautiful furniture and appointments. The inn is right along side the world famous Niagara River, amongst a bunch of great-looking period homes, but they all seem to pale in comparison. The room was spacious... More

My wife and I love planning escapes to the Cameo Inn for long relaxing weekends. This past May was our fourth stay with the Fishers, and we book the Cameo Suite every time. Greg usually clues us in about the local attractions, restaurants etc. What an enormous help. The breakfast is definately our favorite because it's everything we're craving and... More

We've returned to the Cameo several times. It's a beautifully appointed, riverside manor (c.1860), immaculately clean, with excellent breakfasts served by gracious and well-informed hosts. Be sure to ask them for suggestions about shopping, dining, recreation and entertainment in the area. A lovely place and a real bargain!
