We stayed in room #5 for 2 nights and it was just right for us. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The running stream was so relaxing to sit by. There was plenty of outdoor seating arrangements including a couple of hammocks. The room is good for 1 or 2 persons as listed. It was immaculate and very clean. The bed, bedding and towels were luxurious and plush. Will definitely return.

Thanks for such a nice review. The stream has been such a popular sanctuary this year that we recently purchased outdoor heaters so guests can enjoy the setting no matter the weather. We look forward to having you back.

Always a great place for my wife and I to stay. Been there 10 times and always looking forward for the next time. Love to take a dip in the stream no matter how cold I missed the great breakfast but due to the Covid I understand.

We were quite disappointed by our stay at this place. The room was tiny, the bed was bouncy and not terribly comfortable. Due to Covid there was no breakfast or room service and breakfast was not that easy to come by in Woodstock. For the price, I would find another place to stay. Woodstock is a cute town but you don't need to stay right near town in order to see it or take advantage of it.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It seems one of our deluxe rooms may have been a better fit for you, although many guests appreciate the standard rooms. Having a variety of rooms and suites allows us to cater to people’s many different travel desires and budgets. We're glad you enjoyed the town’s charm. For future travels, we welcome you to contact an innkeeper during your stay if something is not to your liking. At our Inn, Karen really strives to make people’s getaways as enjoyable as possible.

We chose a very small room (#8), but had a lovely one-night stay. The grounds are really pretty, but don’t expect anything grand. It’s an inn after all. Our small room was immaculate. The wall unit AC did it’s job, but the WiFi was really weak. The town (walkable from the Inn) is really charming, but presumably due to COVID, everything closed really early. Glad we didn’t stay two nights. Even the wine store closed at 6pm. After dinner in town at Silvia (outstanding), we came back to the Inn, sat by the mill stream and drank a bottle of wine we’d picked up earlier. Very romantic.

Thanks for your review and glad you enjoyed your romantic getaway! Things are different for everyone in this time of Covid, but it’s heartening to see so many guests really enjoying the natural beauty of the Catskills as well as our stream and gardens. Being outdoors is certainly restorative and the seasonal changes affirm that Mother Nature moves on, even in strange times such as these.

Stayed in deluxe room 15 from August 20-25 and let me just say, it was the best decision we've made during these COVID times for a little getaway. From the safety measures to the kind staff and fabulous room, all was just perfect. The entire inn's layout is great with no hallways to walk and all separate entrances to rooms from outside. Room 15 was just beautiful with a very comfortable bed with great linens and many fluffy pillows. The mini kitchen had exactly everything we needed and we were surprised at the size of the medium fridge versus a real mini. The bathroom was spectacular and both the shower and spa tub may or may not have caused us to overuse water during our stay. The creek swimming was so refreshing and we had a blast jumping off the top rocks into the deep end and enjoying social distancing conversation with other folks staying at the inn. Everyone was very respectful. Walking into Woodstock village was a full 4 mins (we timed it) and had some delicious meals in town as well as take out. Even enjoyed listening to great music at the Colony in their back field with stage and picnic tables with umbrellas distanced 20 feet apart from each other. We also went up to the Boiceville Ashokan Rail Trail one morning and biked the trail for miles. Wow! What a view the entire ride. Just majestic. Relaxing with a cold cocktail and a good book in the evening or sitting out under the stars in the many different seating areas around the property was enjoyed by all. Thank you to the owner, Karen - who runs this fantastic inn and is as friendly and conversational as you would expect. 5 stars all the way!
