Detailed Reviews
My wife and I went on a mini getaway to Woodstock. We stayed in the goddess room at this super cute, artsy, eclectic, chic, boutique hotel. The staff is so friendly and accomodating. It is perfectly located on Tinker street just steps from all of the shops and restaurants.
The room itself was really large and looked exactly like the photos. The linens smelled amazing, you could tell the whole space was sanitized before we arrived. We really felt pampered.
The lobby area is a great space with some games and seating and a record player if you want to hang outside the room. We did not but it was nice to have the option.
Breakfast is included and comes fresh from the local bakery at the time you choose (no 7am cutoff times like other hotels). There is a 24 hour coffee/tea area where you can make your own beverages.
All in all it was an amazing stay and we will be back. Definitely recommend it!

I enjoyed two wonderful nights at the Twin Gables at the beginning of August 2023. The hotel is an old house of three floors with both en suite bathrooms or shared bathrooms in the upstairs hall (very European). A beautiful common area on the ground floor and a marvelous communal kitchen where a continental breakfast is on offer each morning. 24-hour coffer and tea is provided.
Lee Ann was a perfect host.
With the town of Woodstock virtually on your doorstep, everything in town is easily accessible on foot.
I shall definitely be back.

I had not been back to Woodstock in 30 years and I decided to drive up for a day. I made a reservation at Twin Gables because I remembered that it was right on a tinker street close to everything.
I was delighted to find that it has gotten a chic boho makeover while still maintaining its charm and quaintness.
The manager was exceptionally friendly and accommodating letting me check in very early and then switching me to a room she thought would be more to my liking. Later she made a fire outside and poured me some wine and I sat and met some very nice guests. I told her about a disappointing dinner I had and she brought me out some snacks by the fire.
The room was very cool and comfortable and the manager is amazing. I wish I could give the place more stars and I will definitely be staying here any time I am in Woodstock.

I stayed at Twin Gables for four nights at the beginning of October, 2023. I was in Woodstock for business. From the very beginning Twin Gables was a delightful experience. LeAnn greeted me warmly, efficiently, and with humor. The place was spotless! I had been hesitant about sharing a bathroom, but it proved to be no problem at all. The bathroom was kept extremely clean, with a can of disinfectant, paper towels for wiping the sink, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and paper cups supplied. Plenty of towels were available — the bath towels were wonderfully fluffy and soft.
My room was #7 and it was adorable. There were extra pillows and an extra blanket, a Victrola radio, and lovely furnishings both in my room and throughout the inn. Being Woodstock, there was lots of rock and roll memorabilia. My favorites were Jimi Hendricks’ air guitar and “Be groovy or leave, man” painted on the kitchen wall.
The kitchen! Each morning LeAnn had fresh fruit, yogurt, yummy pastries, juice, and more at the ready. She’s a great conversationalist, and I thoroughly enjoyed talking with her while munching my breakfasts.
I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that I’d stay at Twin Gables again in a heartbeat. It’s clean, centrally located, pleasant, and a lovely, comfortable place to stay.

Upon opening the door, the host/owner Leanne made us instantly feel welcome and at home. She showed us around, explained how everything worked from kitchen nook to full size kitchen providing continental breakfast each morning, to fire pit which is lit of an evening in a beautiful open space setting. We had a room with a king size bed, single bed for our adult daughter and our own private bathroom, all of which was super clean and very comfortable. After travelling from Australia and being in New York/Brooklyn for just over 2 weeks leading up to a very hectic round of social events culminating in our son's wedding, we were so glad to get away and just chill...this place provided the perfect spot to do just that. There is open space at the front and rear of the property to sit and ponder, watch the autumn leaves fall, enjoy the squirrels constantly on the go, clambering up the trees, and be visited by several beautiful deer....just magical!!!. It was so lovely to have more than a hotel room; there is a parlour/sitting room with open fire, board games etc. There is no TV which we actually found refreshing and didn't miss one little bit during our 4 night stay. Also Woodstock itself is a quaint little town to be embraced in its entirety for its peace, tranquility and friendliness of the locals, shopowners etc, something which we appreciated so much.

We had a great experience spending the night at Twin Gables of Woodstock. Our room was bright and cheery and we felt very welcomed and comfortable. We really loved The 6 PM fire pit and the coffee and tea station. The location of the B&B was perfect for walking up and down the streets that full of shops and restaurants! ☮️

+1
Truly excellent, cool, and comfortable B&B right in the heart of Woodstock. Innkeeper LeAnn is the perfect host, all of the rooms including the shared bathrooms are pristine, fun, and functional. The upstairs space is perfectly zen and a great way to start the day, and the parlor is a cozy place to relax at night with a cup of tea and the many great books on the shelves. I love how walkable the location is to the heart of downtown, and it is also within walking distance of the Comeau Trail which is a beautiful retreat into nature. So rejuvenated in body and spirit from this visit, and staying at Twin Gables made it all possible!

At Twin Gables, LeAnn was our most lovely and cheery hostess for an overnight this last peak-fall colors. This place rides the groove, but could never be called hipster parvenue. What fabulous attention to detail! My favorite exhibit in the parlor was Jimi Hendrix' Air Guitar, brilliant! The gazebo was a secret hideaway, a backyard away from the noise of Tinker Street, a perch to enjoy all the happy legged and winged creatures.
All the staff and guests were so nice, and so COVID responsible, a relief. If all the normal things get A+'s, bed comfort, impeccable cleanliness, immaculately attended shared bathrooms, a simple breakfast designed to get you out and running, if the walls are thin, we found our solution by turning on the radio to static for white noise. THANK GOD there is no TV, and the wifi was just fine.
It was so nice for this drug damaged mind to read their Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are and Dr. Seuss' Horse Museum before bed.
The only place in Woodstock I will stay.
Thank You,
Eduard Laurel

This is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast right in the heart of Woodstock. Location can't be beat - right in the middle of Tinker so a ton in walking distance (restaurants, bars, shops, etc). The B&B itself was super cute, clean and perfect. Most importantly, Leann is a great host all around! Will definitely stay here again

Are you pet friendly? Wanted to stay one night in Woodstock on our way up to VT. We have a lab puppy
Hi Greta,
We love fur babies but we offer a pet-free stay due to many of our guests (and innkeepers) being allergic.
Since our historic property is a Guest House with common areas and shared hallways, the layout is not optimal to allow for pets.
Enjoy your trip up to Vermont!
Thanks for considering us,
