Spectacular! Clean, cool, quiet, excellent location, river running through it! Super comfortable bed and sheets, record player in the room! It felt like I was in a better, hipper version of my own home. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We were planning to stay at the Woodstock Way this past weekend however due to maintenance issues we were relocated last minute to another hotel in the area. While we appreciated the placement to the other hotel the process/communication with the Woodstock Way staff was such a headache. Reception and management were not on the same page with what was being told to us and how to handle the situation. When I did speak with a manager he was rude and made the situation even worse! The property looked beautiful but the customer service was horrendous.

Cozy stay, easy parking & relaxing sounds of the waterfall - just what we needed for our Christmas holiday! At that time, could have done with a coffee/tea set in the room, but am sure that's taken care of now. Loved being able to walk around, exploring Woodstock, truly enjoying this gem of a town. Can't wait to go back and stay in these sweet cabins again!

This place is terrific and hands down beats Scribners Lodge for a weekend stay! We just got back from a wonderful stay with our 6 month old Labrador at this beautiful brand new hotel. Rooms/cabins are designed with a minimalist feel, but definitely do not feel stark and cold. Great location right in town so can walk to restaurants and the shops. Recommend room 306 if bringing a pet.

We were really excited to finally check out Woodstock for the first time on our way back from a snowboarding trip in Vermont. We are huge music lovers and loved the integration of vinyl into the rooms at Woodstock Way Hotel. The location was a little tricky to find using GPS, but overall you wind up in the middle of the downtown area slightly off the beaten path. The grounds were very nice - beautiful waterfall and attractive buildings that you can tell are almost brand new. Upon checking in staff was very friendly and offered us warm beverages seeing that it was 19 degrees outside. The apartment we were staying in was very clean and decorated very cute. However, it was immediately evident that the heat was not working properly. We attempted to rectify the issue ourselves using the remote provided for the heating system but even with the heat function selected it was blowing ice cold air. We thought we figured it out and left to go check out the town before the sun went down. When we got back our room was FREEZING. We bundled up and called the front desk. One of the women came almost right away and explained that all of the rooms have different heating systems so she just needed a minute to get familiar with it. She was even having difficulty with it and said the owner was there and she would ask him to come to the room and check it out since it was still blowing freezing cold air and he was familiar with the system. He declined to help her/us (nice!) and said to try to restart it and left for the day!!!! (*As business owners ourselves who deal with the general public everyday we were a little surprised that the owner of a basically new hotel declined to offer help to his customers who were unhappy with their accommodations!) The room was well below 60 degrees and now the poor girl helping us was profusely apologizing and frantically trying to get the heat to work. We cannot speak more highly of Rosalyn and how professional, sweet, honest, and thoughtful she was throughout this inconvenience. Every single unit has a completely different heat/air system and the one in our apartment was far from user friendly and extremely temperamental. She eventually rectified the issue and the unit began blowing out warmish air. We decided upon her leaving that we too would leave due to how cold and uncomfortable we were in our room. We went out for a few hours and came back to only a mildly warmer room. My husband concluded that aside from an ill working heating system there was a strong draft from all of the windows in the room contributing greatly to the issue and one of the windows wasn't even latched properly. We basically didn't even get to enjoy the room or relax there because we were so cold and were bundled up in coats literally until we went to sleep. Not at all what we were expecting and definitely not how we wanted to end our vacation. We were not offered any sort of credit or discount on our stay even though it was established our room was ice cold, our heat was not working for hours, and we were not happy or comfortable. I would not recommend this place to stay during the winter or early spring. It is probably fine during the summer (unless the air conditioning works as poorly as the heat) We frequently travel & mostly stay in boutique hotels. We have never had this type of issue in any facet elsewhere. We saw the owner the next morning. He was basically blocking our car with his pickup truck and was clearly annoyed with 2 women walking the grounds. (Not sure if they were employees pedestrians, or visitors) Not only was he aware of our issue the night prior he did not acknowledge my husband or myself or offer any sort of follow up regarding the issue we had the night prior with our room. Our advice would be to make sure these first few years you are open you keep your visitors happy, comfortable, and not blow them off when there is an issue of any kind. Support your staff because as wonderful as they are they can't rectify every issue on their own. We plan on returning to the area in the summer and will definitely be staying elsewhere.
