Hotel rooms in New York City ate generally pricey, tiny, and sometimes have disturbing surprises (rats in the Westpark Hotel be Columbus Circle. I found this hotel while visiting a friend in Queens. Two blocks away from the subway, immaculately clean, sufficient space. Two minor quibbles; the air conditioning made the room either too hot too cold, and the maintenance...

My daughter her two children and I spent three nights here in June as part of a Utah to the east coast car trip. It was a very clean and inexpensive alternative to staying in Manhattan. The subway is close and easy to navigate and the neighborhood offers several restaurants should you get back from the city early enough. The...

Great stay for the price paid for NYC. The hotel is very close to the subway and one of my favorite areas, Sunnyside. The hotel is very clean and the hotel staff was very friendly to me and my family. The breakfast was nice too. Our room was cleaned and new towels were brought to the room everyday. Also enjoyed...

Since it has so many great reviews we decided to stay here and it was the best decision. Smooth check-in, it's located in a quiet neighborhood of Queens near Brooklyn. It has parking but with very limited spaces. There are plenty of off street parking especially across the street (you do need to cross the Boulevard!) but to me this...

Very well located in queens, literally one short block from the 7 subway station which is a 20 minute ride to times square. The neighbourhood felt safe, and we didn't have any trouble in the area or on the subway. We were here for 5 days, so we felt we got a good feel for the area. The hotel is...

This hotel was a great price, really clean, and had parking! It was literally a short residential block from the number 7 subway. The breakfast area was tight but good enough and we just grabbed our breakfast and took it back to our room. We were travelling with our 2 - 12 year olds and felt very safe coming from...

I picked this hotel because it's a conveniently short distance to the 7 subway station which in only 15 minutes brings you directly into Grand Central and Time Square Manhattan. We did an advance booking and were able to pay approximately $100/night including taxes, which saved us a LOT of money. The building/room itself could use some new carpeting and...

This is a fine Place to stay. It's located on Queens just one block away from the 52st station 7 train; in 10 minutes you'll be in Manhattan. The rooms are pretty ok, good bed and pillows, fridge, lcd tv. There's no safe box, an important item. The hotel has a parking lot free, and this is very nice! The...

This hotel is small. The rooms are small. The beds are small. The eating area is tiny and the offerings are poor. There is one lift for 5 floors which leads to lots of stairway door slamming (which was beside my room on the 2nd floor). Requests for quiet room etc were not met. The ride to Manhattan by subway was...
