My experience with this hotel was very poor, bed sheets were dirty, pillows cases were dirty, carpet smelled badly, people fighting in the elevator, screaming in the hallway, and to employ someone was smoking marijuana, and the smell Entered my room, would not recommend this hotel

This hotel was great! It was clean, quiet, and affordable. The breakfast pastries were especially good--I think they came from a local bakery and we all know how much New Yorkers love their bagels. The hotel has free parking. We visited NYC for vacation and spent most of our time during the day in Manhattan. The hotel is about 1...

When looking for a hotel in NYC we found this hotel a little out of the way but conveniently near the subway so getting into Manhattan was easy. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The reviews did make us a little weary but for what we paid compared to the prices in Manhattan we would stay again.

OK, a visit to NYC is not cheap. So we found this hotel at a reasonable price and it includes parking. A small breakfast that can get you started. and a few places to eat within walking distance. But the best is that it is close enough to the subway so we were at the Empire state in around 30...

The hotel was adequate, but could use some tlc. There was great close access to the subway. Our room overlooked the graveyard, but had a frig, nice tv and coffeemaker. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

My wife and I went to New York for a week on Sept. 13. When I looked for places to stay, it was obvious we would spend a lot of money staying in Manhattan. So I looked at other locations. This hotel caught my attention for the price and the close location of the subway. But I was a little...

Four times I telephoned this hotel, wishing to speak to two buddies who are departing for a trip to Russia. Each time over a two day period that I telephoned, I received an answering machine stating wait, wait, wait. In all cases I had to wait between 5-10++ minutes before the receptionist would pick up. Most unsatisfactory !!!!!!!!!!

Please be aware that this hotel is now doubling as a homeless shelter. Half of the rooms are being used as a shelter. We were shocked on our last stay here to find this out. I can toto lay understand families displaced from fires etc but it is also housing felons and unstable people.
