The most charming little B&B, right in the heart of town, after a long day skiing, we could be back in 5 minutes, take wonderful long and hot showers, and then walk two minutes to a variety of dinner options. We enjoyed Prime very much.
Breakfast is fabulous (I never eat pancakes, but these were delicious) and Rebecca is adorable and shared some stories of her amazing life. It’s as if the hosts have lived multiple lives, with all they’ve done and seen! My 9-year old thought it was terrific and was sad to leave.
Beds are comfy, rooms are quaint, we will absolutely be back!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Beds on Clouds this Labor Day weekend for a little getaway. Rebecca was very friendly and welcoming into her B&B. She made sure we were comfortable and felt at home. She had a fresh pot of coffee on for the guests in the morning and did everything she could to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The bed was so comfortable and the hotel itself is in walking distance to several restaurants, mini golfing, and the wine bar. I am so glad we came this weekend and we greatly enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay in Beds on Clouds. Rebecca is a gem, she is so fun to talk to and very helpful with all of our needs. One word of advice- be sure to get the key as early as possible. We made a mistake of trying to get the key after eating at 10 p.m. and honestly it was really rude of us, since she runs the entire operation we impeded on her schedule. The rooms are spacious and we were so appreciative of the fact that we had our own bathrooms. Everything was clean and up to standards. Now when I stay the weekends in Windham skiing I know where to go! Thanks again Rebecca- Andrew and Melissa.

We were planning to spend a week exploring the area and made a reservation over the phone with Rebecca. I asked about additional precautions for Covid and she assured me that the inn was taking extra precautions. I should have asked more questions, I would have saved myself a lot of aggravation and discomfort.

I will summarize briefly in order to save other potential guests the experience that we had. I will start by saying that the the innkeeper does not wear a mask or observe social distancing guidelines; even when asked on numerous occasions. I received an "education" on essential oils and Young Living and was told that she did not need a mask or to keep distance because she is protected by essential oils. I guess if you are a believer in essential oils you might not be uncomfortable yet.

in our room, Windham Mountain Studio, the "king" bed was on a queen frame. The aged mattress literally sagged over the side. The bed featured a lightweight cover, pillows in shams, a duvet in a cover and a set of sheets. I will cut the details down and just say that the bed was lumpy and sagged in the middle. The cover and duvet are not cleaned between visitors but rather exposed to an ozone machine which she believes kills all viruses including Coronavirus. One of the towels had dried blood on it. There was nothing clean about our accomodation.

We decided to cut our stay short due to the overall neglect of basic cleanliness and disregard for public health. The innkeeper was rude and called me names including a Nasty B*&^h.

The website indicates a beautiful breakfast buffet. Not only was there no breakfast, there was not even a cup of coffee. The reservation confirmation indicates a cancellation policy that varies by the day of the week. The cancellation fee outlined in the confirmation is 15 or 20% depending on the day of the week. I expected a cancellation fee to be charged since we reserved for seven nights and stayed only one. I received a cancellation confirmation that indicated no charge and a zero balance. Imagine my surprise when I was charged a random amount that was somewhere between one night and seven but also not exactly 50%. I called to ask for a detailed outline of the charges and was told that she had sent it. I asked for it to be sent again and three days later have still not received a thing.

Between the disregard for public health, lack of cleanliness in the rooms, poor quality of the bed and total neglect of breakfast service I would not be able to recommend Bed in the Clouds until some basic changes are made.

We had a hard time finding a decently priced hotel during the weekend of peak foliage and almost-summer weather in October. The prices were outrageous and availability low. Beds on Clouds was the only reasonably priced place, but it had no recent reviews and many old reviews were pretty negative. We decided to take a chance on it and SO glad we did! What a charming little guest house decorated in a Victorian style.

We stayed in the Sunrise room and it was simply lovely: clean, cozy, with a comfortable bed and many antique decor pieces that made it feel like we were staying at grandma’s house. In the morning it gets filled with sunshine, which gave it its name. I stay at chain hotels for work, so when I go on vacation, I crave the old-fashion, home-like feeling that only B&Bs provide. This one definitely satisfied the craving, we felt right at home!

There’s no breakfast but the management is upfront about it. Per the recommendation from a local, we had the best breakfast at Albergos which is 5 minutes away. Contactless check-in was easy, we were sent clear instructions a day prior. The manager Laureen was quick to reply to all my texts. There’s lots of parking on Main Street and several restaurants within walking distance. We will absolutely stay there again. Also, what a great name!

From the moment we pulled into the town of Windham, everything felt like home. We were greeted by a bubbly woman, Rebecca, who chatted with us and showed us to our room. Though we only spent one night, it felt as if we had been there for years. The room had beautiful decor, an air conditioner, and the most comfortable king size bed I’ve ever slept in. The next morning Rebecca graciously heated up our dinner leftovers (eat at the French restaurant Bistro Brie & Bordeaux) and served us fresh coffee and croissants. Everything about this stay felt right!

Rebecca was a doll! She greeted us outside when we first got there and showed us to our room. The room was charming and quaint; very clean. She was very knowledgeable of the area and told us specific spots we should go during our stay. The house was lovely and well kept, she is an excellent hostess :)

My boyfriend booked this place for our ski weekend, I thought it was very cozy. The host has a great story to tell if you project your interest. I love the boutique sort of room I had, in the photography studio in the back, corner room on the top floor. It is close to very delicious restaurants in walking distance or within a 10 minutes drive, ideal for people who like a quite stay.

Very nice host, warm like a family, convenient to ski resort. Will definitely recommend to others! The room was warm, and breakfast is prepared by the host. There are places for you to put your snow gears.

I strongly agree with the two recent reviews "Sad place ..." and "Overwhelmed" giving this B&B a 1 star "Terrible' rating. My wife and I went to check in for our $400 pre-paid two night stay, and we felt very uncomfortable with the owner and the house conditions. We decided not to check in, requested a refund (which the owner has refused), and left.

I got the feeling that this is not the most child friendly place. No room for kids to play as it is on a busy street and no real room to play inside.
