Dear alison2022 Thank you for your comments. At times unfortunately and very few we have to agree to disagree. It is unfortunate, but we do our best to open our doors to everyone. We were unable to do so because like most things in life there are rules and regulations that we must follow as well. Whether you’re in a bank, or even at the airport, certain documentation is allowed while others may not be. While we understand that benefit cards are issued by a state sanctioned department in government, they are not acceptable forms of identification for our establishment. We are able to take passport or drivers license and IDs issued by the department of motor vehicles. Any of those documents Prove identity and residence. The document that you brought in in addition to the benefit card was three years old. We also do not except a bus pass ID would you also attempted to present. I just wanted to make clear to any other reviewer‘s how misleading the title of no hospitality really is. More appropriately the title would be they follow their rules. And that’s OK. We certainly understand that when we are not able to accommodate you can create a perception that does not line up with our intentions. I do regret that we were not able to accommodate however our staff must be consistent with each and every person that stays or our word means absolutely nothing. It is my hope at some point you will come to understand that when we make a decision that way it is certainly not personal but it is so that we consistently hold ourselves accountable to our policies for each and every guest. Stayed for one night. Check in was painful and slow. Room was not ready at 1 pm told sternly to come back at 4. No offer to call when room was ready. Room itself was OK. Standard fare. Broken tiles on bathroom. Room was clean.

Dear badvikingman13 Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience. I do apologize that the check in process was not a smooth or as quick as you would’ve liked. While there are times when we are able to check our guest in very early, there are times when we must ask that you come back a little later. Because our checkout time is at noon we must afford our staff the opportunity to ensure that your room has been properly clean inspected in prepared just for you. We certainly understand that everyones time is very valuable. We also apologize for some of the slight renovation that we were undertaking. During the early part of the year it’s very hard is the hotel stays pretty busy and even during December it doesn’t really slow down that much. Rest a sure that every time we do that we’re doing it with the idea that we want to make our product the best it can possibly be. Stayed at red roof for one night. Came to check in with jimmy, he was very welcoming and nice. Room was very clean and comfortable. The suite we stayed in was very big with everything we needed. Defiantly will be back again!

At this hotel the customer expert name Roxy, is very professional, friendly, always willing to help you. I don’t think they provide Shuttle buses to jfk.
