We stayed two nights at the Mana-Nui motel in Unit 3. We found it exactly as advertised. The delightful owners are upfront by acknowledging that it is somewhat dated but that is reflected in the price. Immediately we walked in to our rooms there was a lovely fresh smell. Nicely cleaned for our arrival we found that everything worked -...

The staff are super friendly and helpful and show an interest in their guests. The facilities are clean and well kept. They are honest and don't pretend to be 5 star. The location on the main street of town is perfect.

The place is run beautifully and the rooms are very clean and well kept. Very friendly and courteous people who wouldnt hesitate to help us. Our stay at Coromandel was wonderful and the location of the motel was convenient.

Very quick stay but pleasant. Had the accessible unit which owners agreed to let us use for only one night despite the 3 night minimum after some negotiation. Hosts were friendly. Beds comfortable. Would consider staying again.

Although in a good location the owners are exceptionally unreasonable and rude !!! The walls are paper thin and rooms stuck in the 70s with hideous decor, uncomfortable beds and horrible showered ! After working in the travel industry for many years , I have yet to encounter an accommodation property with owners unwilling to take extra money for having...

SIMPLY, when we have to call the police, who arrived and enforced a trespass notice on an abusive / belligerent friend of the guest, where the guests friend who was not booked into the property, was requested to leave the property 3 times from 1:30am through and until after 2:30 am in the early morning, shows the depth of and...

We stayed here for 1 night. The lady in the office, Joanne, was very welcoming and showed us over the unit. The unit was a two bedroom unit, although a little dated, was very clean and had all the amenities you needed (except a hair drier). Ample stack of tea, coffee etc. Had full size pepper and salt in the...

We had a lovely stay at the Mana- Nui Motel last weekend. We arrived late morning after a last minute decision to go away for the weekend and took the last room that they had. The room was not ready so we went away for a few hours while it was cleaned. We had the 1 bedroom- family room which...

The rooms are clean but a bit dated but has very comfortable bed and good quality linen. Is in walking distance to restaurants.j I dont like the fact that they stress no shoes inside and have a sign stating this when the carpet is very basic This is a silly rule that does not make you feel very welcome ...

We only met the owner when booking in and leaving. Our unit was very dated (right down to the 70's retro coffee mugs) but it was clean and the bed very comfortable. The shower wasn't hot enough and there isn't enough water for two consecutive showers. No privacy from the road if the curtains were pulled back. Slightly disappointed -...
