We arrived to the campground having arranged a cottage for the night. Upon check-in they had not received our reservation. Gave us a decent sized cottage with only 2 working light bulbs, none in the kitchen or the bathroom. Had to play roulette with them all night with oven mitts!! Dirty dishes from previous people in the room. Had to... More

It is not clear from your ID when you stayed. I assume it is our unit 9 which is next to reception, which closes around 8pm. We do have a buzzer at reception for a staff member to respond to requests after hours, which can be unreliable the later the hour With 9 cabins in the campground we do rely... More

We stayed in a fully self contained unit for 5 nights and it was perfect. To sit on the veranda with a cold beer as the sun slowly set, looking out at the bush clad hillside opposite is truly relaxing. Very friendly staff, very clean property. Lovely and peaceful. Even the ducks aren't too intrusive. Highly recommend stopping in and... More

While I never stayed at the campground I was charged for a night and this is my review of the experience. Last September I made a booking for Easter weekend to attend a family reunion. When another family member, who had made a tentative booking via phone, alerted me the next day to the negative reviews the campground had received... More

We pulled up in our camper van. We found the site beautiful, quite and extremely clean. The owners were helpful and the facilities were well above average. From a camper van side of things my wife and I highly recommend this site.

Old, rough and shoddy. Some parts of the cabin had never been cleaned, the pull cord for the bed light, looked like 'beef jerky' and everything looked like it had come from a second hand shop, sheets (cost extra), mugs, glasses, cutlery etc. is all different and all past there use by date. The common toilets had no soap or... More

we had a South African guy, a chef, stay in the cabin, he used to dry this beef jerky because it was such a sunny cabin, maybe he just strung a slice up to the ceiling light above his bed because he liked to snack at night or was too lazy to get out of bed to turn the light... More

Management, I think it's time that you really sit and take a good look at the reviews received on TripAdvisor. It's not a case of a few disgruntled customers expressing a personal vendetta, there is a consistent trend that people that visit your campsite rate it as a terrible experience. I think it is time to upgrade the facilities and... More

You are correct that the past reviews are not good Mrs Majstorovic, though to be fair the most recent one in August from Danni was a personal vendetta, as you put it. She had been dumped by her boyfriend, the guy in the skyline and her stay with us and her comments were more about him than our campground, you... More

We stayed at this campsite in the so called cottages the entire experience was disgusting everything was filthy we could not check in after 8 pm as the owner is rude and arrogant. There was a guy working there that hit in all of us there and made everyone feel very uncomfortable a complete sleaze bag and we were woken... More

I regret not picking up on Dannis review earlier. What a load of codswallop Danni She is like the town drunk who has been infatuated with one of our staff, would call and hassle him during work hours here and I banned her from our campground. She made a booking in a group, not using her name, got hammered all... More

Overall this was average for us but more than adequate for one night especially given the fact that we didn't spend alot of time here. The cabin was fairly old and abit musty but the price reflects the value for money. Plenty of room for parking and we enjoyed a nice quiet stay. We took our key from the lockbox and... More
