There is something special about booking into a caravan park which is situated inside a State National Park, and it does not take long to understand what it is. It's the earthy smells, coupled with the fresh air, bird songs and the wind in the trees. Coalmine Beach Holiday Park has all these and more. The friendly staff welcome you... More

The kids ( 12 & 14 ) made friends during our stay here during the Long weekend and were hardly to be seen. They rode their bikes and played in the playground and down at the beach and slept like babes. When they`re happy and exhausted we`re happy too. We rode our Mountain Bikes on the nearby Munda Biddi trail... More

We spent 4 nights at this park recently. Lovely bush setting right beside the inlet. The town of Walpole is only a few minutes away by car, so the site is very quiet during the day and night. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly and offer great advice on all the places to see - which are many. We... More

If a bush camping experience is what you are after but with the added bonus and luxuries of hot showers, games/tv room, family movie nights and camp kitchens ten look no further than Coalmine in Walpole. We have made the journey from Perth a few times now and as soon as we step out of the car, we feel relaxed... More

We stayed in a self contained cabin. Unfortunately bedroom, lounge, kitchen & dinning all in one is just a little to tight. This time of the year you could not get on the beach. The friendly kookaburras made this stay memorable.

We had a great powered caravan site amongst the trees. The toilets and showers were kept spotless and the staff were all very friendly. You could walk around the park in a bush setting then walk through the trees onto a lovely beach. Best of both worlds. Each night the kangaroos would come onto the grassed area to feed. We... More

We have been on the road for 5 weeks staying in caravan parks and this is one of the best we have been to. ($38 for a powered site) The sites are not overlooking each other and have a heavy layer of bark/mulch in each bay. We found this ideal to keep the dirt out of the van. The park... More

We where camping and had set up the tent near the camp kitchen which has all the facilities. Great showers and toilets plus close to the beach. Rain was in the area so the wood chips that are placed on each site where welcome as it stopped tramping dirt and mud into the tent. Kookaburras are a plenty and seem... More
